Please help with Esquire review

I'm looking for the review of "Rumours" that ran in Esquire in 1977. I think it was Albert Goldman who wrote it. The critic compared Fleetwood Mac's sound to "long-forgotten strains of ancient mountain music," to Appalachian roots music, & distinguished it from the "dreadful modern product" of country music.

I think Goldmann was referring to the musicanship/instrumentation and the way the mix was done. Guitars up front - so all the details could be heard and "felt". You "get it" during the opening guitar parts of the Chain or I Don't Want To Know.
Rumours was pure - and I suppose that was a little rare in the late 70's for folk/rock/country albums.
