I can't wait for Twin Peaks (and they better have the Log Lady introductions). Hopefully they'll release the pilot on DVD, too, because the import I have is sucky quality. You can actually download all 22 eps of season two online if you want the link, Christy. They're great quality.

Wings and American Gothic are the two I most want on DVD at the moment. C'mon already! And I'll take Medium anytime, too.

I do hear that the miniseries for King's Desperation is supposed to be fantastic. It was to air this month, but ABC yanked it until next May.
I liked The Stand too. That "he who walks" guy played the character well. :shudder: What a creepy, creepy story. I read the whole unabridged re-released book. "M-O-O-N spells 'moon'."

I want lots of DVDs but am not in the habit of buying them because it could just become another compulsion I do not have room for.

I want Legend, and BATB now, would love Wonder Woman, Joan of Arcadia, Alias, Gilmore Girls, Point Pleasant (not yet in existence), and some movies I can't think of right now. Oh yeah, and the 1998 live concert video of Stevie solo. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

Erm, don't hate me, but I never have to buy DVDs cos I get them all for free. I guess I take it for granted.
But you know what is gonna make you all hate me even more? I actually throw away a lot of the TV stuff I get sent...
I did get sent the first season of Scrubs the other day though and I might watch that.

I wish I could! Problem is most of them are check discs (or promos) and I'd get in trouble if I gave them away. The studios prefer you chuck em out. But when I get finished copies of stuff I don't want, I give it to friends or to charity.

Default well..

I probably buy more dvds than I do cds.. that's a first.

I've got a great little used record/dvd store in my neighborhood, and I just bought Annie Hall, The Triplets of Belleville, and the Station Agent for $5 each. I bought the second seasons of Soap and the Waltons a few weeks ago, and I just pre-ordered Season 5 of the Sopranos (can't wait) and the first season of Roseanne (long overdue).

I know! The sexual inuendo is so funny! When I watched it as a kid, I obviously just had no idea what was going on. But now, it is SO MUCH FUNNIER to me!

I can't stand Jim Carrey either, but seeing him in Lemony Snicket's was something I knew I'd have to endure - whereas Law was an unpleasant surprise.

As for Kevin Spacey, I wouldn't say he's one of my favorite actors, but I like him.

Actors I can't stand - Tom Cruise, John Wayne, anyone from American Pie (except Eugene Levy, who I adored in A Mighty Wind), Ashton Kutcher, ****bait (Orlando Bloom), Jackie Chan, any of the action heroes - Seagal, Arnold, Stallone, Norris, etc., Adam Sandler, Mike Myers (except as Shrek), David Spade, Rob Schneider, Chris Tucker, Chris Rock (though I did enjoy him as the voice of Rodney the guinea pig), Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, John Travolta, Michael Douglas, and Val Kilmer (except in The Doors and Tombstone). I know there's more but those are some off the top of my head.

Aww I did that with my Grandma too. Sometimes I still watch it with her.

I have the Golden Girls, Three's Company, Land Of The Lost, and Full House TV DVD sets.

I am dying for Moonlighting. My whole family used to watch that all together. I used to think Bruce was the hottest **** ever.

I also want Fraggle Rock. Right now I have two DVDs of that.
