Yep, it sure was dull tonight. Bo was definitely better--his second song was very good--but the original songs for both were terrible. Carrie really was off key for much of her songs.

I guess I'll go vote for Bo, even though he wasn't particularly inspiring, and hope that if he wins his album is more exciting than tonight's show!

Were the first and third songs originals? and who's songs are they? Did the show have them written for the contestants?

I'd rather have watched Simon suck a cow's udder than that finale. Whatta shame. The orginial songs suck....Carrie was off key all night but will still win.

Well, the original songs sucked, they didn't grab me. I thought Carrie sang the hell out of her last song though. She was pitchy all night though, I agree. I think about Kelly's song "A Moment Like This..." I got goosebumps when she sang that (yeah dork). Nothing like that happened tonite, no goosebumps.

And it's been raining here for days and the forecast is rain.

There will never be another Kelly Clarkson.

I do like watching American Idol but I think so much has been lost since the first season airing of the show. I really wish that instead of seeing a money maker in American Idol, they'd do a series every other year as to not loose the freshness of the show and at the same time, make even more people look forward to it. After that first season, the show hasn't been as good since

That's right. People don't know how to vote and all the good ones get booted too early...not giving them time to grow into a powerhouse. They should all know by now if they start out strong (Carrie), they will end up weak (Carrie) and vice versa (Vonzell)......but no one can see that.

I think tonight was the most boring night so far. Why do they pick such slow, sappy songs to sing?

Carrie's strength is country yet she only did one country song that wasn't that great. Bo was fine but he didn't excite me that much either. I still hope Bo wins but I think Carrie will instead.

Just show the people who suck at the auditions and do away w/ the contest entirely!

Yup, pretty much.

We already have Kelly. Carrie's a wannabe. She's talented, really, but why not have a winner who's completely different???

I actually thought Bo did pretty well considering our local news reported that he was up all night last night suffering from food poisoning. Hmmm, could that have been a sabatoge attempt?
