For some reason, I don't remember reading about this in the post-show reviews. Of course, and as is usual, I probably just overlooked it. Nonetheless, for those of you who went, was this really the case?!?

Me and you, both! He should just realize that we (the fans) love him, his music, and his style! Otherwise, he would have been long gone by now, a bilp on the music world screen. He has stood the test of time, so what more could he want. He should know at his age that no one is perfect. I guess this is just a part of Lindsey that we love to hate or hate to love.

He only did one take of Big Love and the impromptu Save Me A Place if I remember correctly.

It seems that someone recently attended a Wallflowers taping and a tour guide mentioned Lindsey.
It was said that Lindsey insisted on doing two takes of every single song, and that even when that was all said and done, he didn't like the performances/final product enough and will not give them permission to air it. So apparently it is Lindsey's decision for his Soundstage not to air--he's exercising his right of refusal.
Keep in mind that this is second hand info.
Oh PLEASE let this not be true!!

Much thanks to whomever leaked those songs. I play them at least once a day.
Someone did, but they were turned in by a fellow fan who felt himself obliged to be a watchdog for evil Lindsey bootleggers.

Not of "Big Love!"

I went to the Chris Isaak Soundstage and he also did two takes of several songs. I wouldn't think it's all that remarkable.

on the following artists releasing new material this decade:

Guns N Roses (Last new studio album was in '91)
Lindsey Buckingham (Last new studio album was in '92)

Which do you think will have a new release first?

This thread is full of all sorts of disappointing information!

Guess I should stop holding my breath for Buckingham Nicks on CD.
