Sorry, it's the end of the day and I'm a bit giddy.
I'm totally calling that out the next time I hold her hand! Except, knowing me I'd just call out the word "Vagina!" and she'd look puzzled and say "K bye!" and move on!

I can't remember who it was that created the comic book for Stevie and received an email from Stevie herself to thank him/her for it. But I'm wondering if any of you guys have ever received a thank you letter or email from Stevie for a gift you gave her. Also, what did you guys give her during the Edge of Seventeen greeting? I saw some flowers and stuff. Just curious.

I've given Stevie flowers and a letter before and I didn't get anything back. I didn't really expect anything back though.

In Vegas Tiff, Suze, Marissa, a few others, and I found this beaded bag with a Yorkie on it and it was so Stevie so we all chipped in and bought it for her. After the Wed show Tiff gave it to Sharon. Sharon later told Tiff that Stevie really liked it and was carrying all around so hopefully that's true.

Cool story! I wonder what Stevie does with all the stuff she gets? She must auction some of it off or give it to charities because she gets so much! Or maybe she has a room in one of her homes where she puts it!

You know, I think she both has a room for the stuff and gives a lot of it to charity! Any stuffed animals she gets she gives away. That is, if I remember correctly.

Edit: But I am sure she is carrying around the yorkie bag as I type.

I think she keeps the stuff she likes and gives the rest to charity - I remember reading that the flowers and stuffed animals go. I also know she has brought them herself to charities, but that is not really public knowledge.

I sort of look at it like this - haven't we all regifted a present we appreciate getting but did not really need or like

Ok question - I got to shake her hands Sat night during Edge and when I turned around to the other people standing around me and said "OMG she kissed my thumb I can't believe I touched her!!" one of the ladies said to me, "Yeah, she always goes for the young ones". Well I have never heard that before. I'm 28 but people tell me I look in my early twenties. Any thoughts on this? Do you think she does reach for her younger fans?

Absolutely. If I wasn't standing next to the two young young girls (6 or 7) at the SYW show in Cleveland last year, I wouldn't have got a hand shake either. They were small enough to sit on the stage and caught Stevie's eye during GYOW. She came over and gave them hand smacks. I yelled something to her and she just moved her hand over to mine and gave me and a few others a han shake. But if it wasn't for those girls, she wouldn't have....she rarely, if at all, shook hands on the SYW tour.

I saw her shake maybe 5 or 6 hands out of the 8 SYW shows I went too...So this is interesting. Why does she prefer the younger ones? After all the older ones have a lot of loyalty. I would want to shake everyone's, not just the young ones.

I don't think she has a "too young". Remember she's been picking up little baby Rhiannons for years.

Actually when I get to see her I'll be 17 by then. Ew, scary. I just want her to come slap me a high five!

Well I'm only sixteen... I got to touch her, shake her hand, I told her I loved her and then she laughed and said "I know, I know!" She leaned all the way down and, like I said, we were practically doing eskimo kisses! I will never forget how genuine and big and bright her smile was. I think maybe she gives special attention to her very young fans because for many of us, we have missed out on her crazy Rock a Little days and she wants to give us some special moments to make up for the fact that we couldn't experience her back in the 70's and 80's. You know? Also, she maybe feels like younger fans need to be nurtured and (as she always says) she is like a mother to all of her fans. We are all her children.
