Probably because the promoters feel that the Eages and Stevie (Fleetwood Mac) have the same audience and they would more than likely chose one over the other rather than go to both (probably the Eagles).

Does anyone know if they're using the same promoters?

Yes, but they've had overlapping tours before... lots of artists with similar fanbases tour around the same time, sometimes even under the same promoter .

Not sure about the promoters here. Perhaps Kelly would know.

I don't know. I think it's retarded also. That's just the only logical explanation I could come up with. I sure as hell wish she would come here.

At least play Shoreline for god's sake!

I fear that there would be many empty seats at Shoreline for this "Gold Dust Tour". Isn't Concord Pavilion much smaller?

I'd love for her to play the Mountain Winery if she won't do the Fillmore.

Maybe she'll play Konocti!

I don't know. I've never been to Concord Pavillion. Is that in Oakland? I don't like to go farther south than San Jose...Sunnyvale is really my limit, but once in a while I get dragged to San Jo.

Greek! Greek! Greek!
heheheh.
No, Lilyrose, Pavilion is in Concord. It's actually pretty nice, I think. Concord is warm in the summer, and it's outdoors. I think the sound is okay, too - It sounded way better than San Jose to me.

It's like, a 1/2 hour drive northeast ish of Oakland. The best part? It's not freezing ass windy, like shoreline....

Everything sounds better than the HP Pavilion. The sound quality of the FM show(s) there was abysmal...so bad that my friend and I complained and they said "yeah, we hear that all the time."

But it wasn't bad for Dolly Parton last December (yes, I love Dolly Parton so if anyone has anything to say about it, let's just get it over with now ), the sound wasn't bad because they cut the arena in half and had curtains and carpet on the floor. Somehow it made a difference.

Concord Pavilion is a nice venue for a shed. I just don't like sheds.

Be careful of the Raider fans though! They can be brutal!

What does shed mean?

A shed is usually an outdoor ampitheatre. I like them actually. they have neat ambiance with moon out and everything.

Sorry, I should be clearer with my language. But many of you are worse; I spent days trying to decipher things like OOTC and TOSOTM and MLWCYM.

Me, too. I love outdoor ampitheatres!!!! Love them. But, I have to say, Oakland arena has great sound, too. I mean, I thought it was really good. Not that I'm totally an expert, but I was way far back, and it kicked. Plus, you just walk over that overpass from the BART station.... Plus, you can sneak in easily....
