Really? I read where 21 is the best odds in Vegas. But, you live there so . . .

If I would have known there were others like me....I had a timeshare about 1/2 mile from the strip to escape the madness. I would've invited you all there. I got really bored sometimes.

Default Would I go back to Vegas?

We hadto drive 2 hours to the airport, wake up the next day at 4:30 am leave at 6:35 am and fly to Dallas and then to Vegas. I stayed up 24 hours to hang out with Ledgies after the show. I stepped on the toes of a 65 year old couple seated next to me during EO17. And it doesn't matter one bit cause they had a meet and greet after the show, along with everyone else on my row. .....NOT!
I stayed up another 24 hours and had it pay off by being able to chat with Lori Nicks.
We had to check out of our hotel at 11 am and walked around the strip one more time till our flight left at 11:30 pm.
We got to the airport at 8 pm waiting to leave, only to have our red eye delayed and sleep on the floor of the airport till we left at 12:40 am.
We sat on a plane for 4 1/2 hrs. to fly to Miami to only get on another plane to Jacksonville and then drive 2 hours to get home.
The truth is I would do it all over again this very second, just to see Stevie give a truly amazing performance that made me ball like a baby when it was all over.

P.S. The "I miss you" sex with the boyfriend is worth doing it all over again.

I love craps, but a crowded table is too much for me. I also usually win at 21.

I was getting that 21 has the best odds thing from some t.v. show I saw awhile back. But, I agree, he would know best

For me, it was certainly worth the trip to Las Vegas. I would – and have – traveled far and wide to see Stevie just about anywhere, if my schedule permits. It was a fun mini-vacation and it was extra fun to spend some time with my old chum Livia since we never get to hang out. So, aside from the actual concert, that was the best part.
As for the show…they were great concerts. Great! But they were hyped BY STEVIE as something that they weren’t. With the exception of IF ANYONE FALLS, there were NO concert/video footage used. Instead, it was really bad visuals. And I’m talking really bad. She has video footage for more than half of the material, so why wasn’t any of it used? She herself stated that they were going through mountains of footage. OK – what did they come back with? The pics we’ve never seen during “Enchanted” and the Beauty and the Beast film. And where were all of the old costumes and hats and boa’s? She had more costume changes during the TIMESPACE tour. And as far as putting on a VEGAS show…it was only BATB. Period.

Was I disappointed? After the fact, yes a little bit. Do I regret going? No. But I will say that I went into this expecting a totally different kind of show than the one I got. I’m a fan – a huge one – and Stevie and I go way back, so I know that she can do better. And I think with poo-pooing it with “well, she had not that much time to put things together” is kinda lame.

She has NEVER, with the exception of the BELLA DONNA project, surrounded herself with the most creative bunch of people. She has always been marketed and promoted half-assed in my opinion and it never seemed to me that she was touted as the PREMIER artist that she is. She has made many a blunder with publicity and with her image but mostly with her showmanship. How many times have we fans thought, “Oh, if I could only have directed that video”? or said, “Man, she should have sang THAT instead”? I know it’s easy to say that while sitting on my couch or typing on my Dell, but I feel like we got jipped in a tiny way.
This show was not the “pull out all the stops” big production that it was hyped, but it was one kick ass rock concert with one incredible moment at the end. And that, for me, was worth it. But will I go back to Vegas? No. I would much rather see her do something incredibly unique…like perform JUST the songs of Rhiannon. Now, wouldn’t THAT be something?

I didn't get to go this time round but was in Vegas for TISL...won't go into the story it has been well documented....but the whole Vegas thing was really GREAT and would definitely go again...without having to think twice..except this time due to University constraints placed upon me. LOL!!
Vegas is truly THE best adult playground...

If the only place I could see Stevie have a performance that great again was at Vegas, I would definately go. I didn't really care for the city very much though, so I'd rather see her somewhere else. If I did go back, I would go for longer than 3 days. I don't feel like I got to see everything I would have liked to with 2 days of traveling and only one full day there.

I could definitely make it a yearly thing. I had a great time--next time I go back I want to be non-pregnant so I can hit some bars and enjoy Vegas the right way!
