I've been reluctant to fully describe what went on that night because I'm not sure a vid boot will show these things the way people in the front seats saw it happening. Unless there are a lot of close ups of just Stevie, it won't be noticeable. The attitude might be picked up on and the ad libs will be in there but all the subtle things going on that were way out of the ordinary will only show up in tight close ups. Most boots don't get close. Shots of the full stage will never reveal these things. If a taper got tight shots of her singing Sorcerer, HSML, FFG, IAF or even SB, which was kind of vampy, it might show some of these things, but a taper seated in the mezz or back orchestra wouldn't have seen or noticed enough to realize it was necessary to get tight shots by seeing things from far away. It will only be on there by accident if there are any lengthy close ups. The video of BATB taped from the front on Wed does show her touching her face like she was doing a lot that night and not the other nights, but that's the closest thing we might get to these things that are hard to describe if you weren't sitting right in front of her and watching the entire performance live.

Exactly, and I did notice the eyes closed and smiling (she'd turn her back away from the audience for a moment...did you notice that as well?). The first few rows had the opportunity to see it ALL. Oh, I'm sure she had another audience

I'm hoping that since the venue was smaller than most arenas, the taper may have been able to get tighter shots of Stevie. Esp. since security seemed to be very lax considering how big a deal was made of their "no cameras" policy.

I'm not saying they allowed people to record, BUT I don't think the taper(s) would have needed to hide too much as long as they sat quietly. So hopefully we'll end up with a great quality, steady show with lots of close-ups!

I realized it was something else when she talked to herself away from the mic, and when stepping back from the mic and turning her back. I could see that, too. It was always with her head tilted toward her shoulder. She was in a zone while facing us. Then she was sometimes saying things during the non singing parts but I could only see her lips moving. She was doing the kissing thing away from the mic at first but when she went up to the live mic and did it, I did a double take the first time she did it. I looked at Kandace like, did you just see that? We looked at each other exactly at the same time and thought...WTH? When she did it again and again I knew that show was heading to the twilight zone.

Hopefully they were able to get close up shots but I have a feeling most of those recording were towards the top of the theater where perhaps it won't translate as well as it would have if you were up front.

I saw that as well but really couldn't make out what she was mouthing either. It was visible on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Did she do it the rest of the week?

Who noticed the difference in what she was doing with the mic ribbons all night? At a distance I'm sure it looked like the usual grab on for dear life and shake your nerves out on those streamers. That could have happened Friday? Which day was she dragging the cape around during FFG? That was hilarious.
