Stevie said "Mick" right nbefore Beauty and the Beast on Saturday

Forgive me if this has already been discussed (there are about five million pages about Vegas- it would take me all day to read every post!) but did everyone else notice how after the piano solo, right before she started to sing Stevie said "Mick" and then seemed a little flustered like she was thinking out loud or something? I thought this was very interesting and everyone when she said this was like "huh?". She obviously didn't mean to say this. And then after the song she said someone's name and said "yes, that song's for you!" Was she talking about Mick Fleetwood?

I just have to say that Vegas was amazing and Beauty and the Beast was the best experience of my life (either that or getting to shake her hand and having her smile at me... I can't decide which was more thrilling

) Anyways, during B&theB on Friday night I almost fell collapsed, the song was so beautiful. I couldn't move and didn't clap or scream when the song was over because it was just too beautiful and heart breaking. "I've never doubted your beauty... I've changed!" OMG, just thinking about it is too much.

I asked a few people and the ones who responded said they didn't hear it. Who knows. He was there...maybe she dedicated it to him.

I saw in another thread that she said at the end of BaTB that it was for "Ruby and Tessa"...her Goddaughters. So...that is very sweet.

I said that in another thread. Last night she did say Mick at the beginning of BATB. It was intentional because he was there. I was across the aisle from Mick and his wife and the twins, Ruby and Tessa. Stevie knew they were there. At the end she said that was for Ruby and Tessa. Mick really wasn't paying too much attention during the show or even during that part. He was mostly juggling one of the girls on his lap and keeping her busy. His wife had the other twin on her lap. One rude dude tried to get Mick's autograph during the show. What an ass. The twins were very well behaved for tots their age. Good going, Mick.

She definitely said Mick! I was sitting directly across the aisle from him and she looked at him when she said it. She said MICK!!! I nearly had a heart attack! Such a magical moment!

Oh hey! I saw this after I posted. It was great meeting you! Weird that Mick didn't really respond too much even when she sang Beauty and the Beast. Hmmm... I noticed he was chatting quite a bit during the show. That would have been annoying for the people around him trying to watch.

AAARRGGHHHHHHH - I tried to hook up with glitter_fades - but we kept getting sidetracked

I would think it a little embarassing to be sitting in the audience with the wife and kids, and have your ex bemoaning the loss of your great love.... perhaps he was grateful that the twins were taking his attention away from that....

I don't think that was what she was doing. JMO. He was there. He was in the video she did on that song. Her god daughter's were there. She acknowledged Mick and the kids with the song. That's all. She dedicated Landslide to her mother on Friday.

You were there on Saturday night???? I thought you were only going to be there Tuesday and Wednesday???

Hey, Daniel. Thanks for backing me up. I was the lady next to you on the aisle. I'm sorry we didn't see you again after the show. Caesar's was nuts on Saturday so we left after about an hour. Wasn't Stevie amazing? I saw all 4 shows. Nothing will ever top the show on Wednesday, but I think you had to be in the first 5 or 10 rows to get that show. It was not for general public consumption, as far as I could tell. I'm still not sure it was really Stevie on stage Wednesday. She was like a totally different person that night. Tues she was nervous. Wed, if you were sitting in the first few rows, you could see she was noticeably uninhibited. Fri and Sat were great overall shows for the entire audience. Every show was worth seeing and was special for a different reason. As long as you never believed all the bull she was slinging in the Jim Ladd interview, there was nothing disappointing about her performances. She had great attitude and seemed happier than ever. Her vocals were outstanding. She sounded better and more consistant than she's sounded live in many years. Imo, the videos were an annoying distraction but were necessary to keep Stevie from being swallowed up by that huge stage. It would have been nice if the videos were relevant. I didn't care for them much at all except the rare ones of Stevie herself. It would have been better use of the screens if she had been projected up there singing more than the quick few times they showed her full screen. I'm sure she didn't want to be shown up there, ten feet high, in close ups for everyone to scrutinize how she looked. Too bad for the people sitting far away, because she looked great and it would have been better to see her up close to clearly appreciate the performances.
