My awesome boyfriend got me a purse from his friend in Thailand. It's so freakin cool. It's made of some kind of organic plastic-ish stuff, and has real flowers pressed into it. Check it out. Heres the website. If anyone is into purses, you shoudl check these out! http://www.flowerbag.com/

ooo, that's totally pretty! My mom makes purses with things encased in them, too. I really like yours, it's so delicate looking.

uh, I think she just gets the special plastic, and...uh...the ones she gave me also have fake black fur for the straps. I'm not exactly sure, she makes all kinds of stuff out of other stuff, all the time..

In my sig, the picture on the right is etched glass that she did, the one on the left is a wood carving, and she makes clothes and stuff out of wool she gets from her friend, and there are lots of other weird materials she makes stuff from. Uh, so, I really don't know the entire process....

The ones she gave me have different colored peices of glass in them, not flowers...

Thanks! The only problem is, well, it's clear. So everyone can see my junk. I won't use it often, just special occasions when it matched my outfit I guess.

yeah, I was thinking about that too. Good plan. My mom's aren't clear, she put background on them.

I would want to use the purse you got a lot, though. You know, so everyone could see my gorgeous purse?

I wondered about your sig. Your mom is talented!

Regarding the clear purse issue - perhaps you could get some sort of bag to contain all your crap & put that into the purse? Like, a white, ivory or even light pin color so that you could still see the flowers in the clear bag? Just a thought.

BTW - going shoe hunting this week. I did find a cute pink Nine West purse at AJ Wright for $12, so that's a plus.

Yes I thought of lining it with something. That is probably what I will do. I bought a new pair of sandals last week. I wore them today...it was finally warm enought. They are thongs with little pink beads hanging off the straps. I love them. They have a nice gypsy feel to them. That or belly dancer...I can't decide!

I bought my first halter top ever, too. I got a clear strap convertable bra...it opened up a whole new world of clothes to me! So I bought a fabulous sparkly purple halter. It's kind of long, and has an asymetrical (wow I really butchered that one!) hem. I love it. I wish it would get hot so I can wear it this weekend!

I got mine for $19.99 at Target

You can definatly find a cheap one that will do the trick. I usually have to get expensive bras, but this one is suprisingly good. And I don't wear it that often. It is a great investment though. I can actually wear halter and tank tops! woohooooo!!!

very nice. I just got some tacky gold sandals with toe loop, too. I almost got some black flat thongs with sparklies, but, you know. don't worry, I don't hate you.

here's mine. They have an annoying heel.
