Well we finally booked our flight last night And it is going to be one hell of a trip.
We leave Jacksonville at 6:35 am connect in Dallas and land in Vegas around 10:07 am. Then coming back we don't leave Vegas till 11:30 pm, connect in Miami and we have about a 3 hour layover then arrive in Jacksonville at 11:44 am.
Is anyone one elses flight like this?? This is what I get for taking a forgetful non-money managable pot smoker. Why me?

I am lucky because on both of my flights both going to Vegas and returning to Providence I just stay on the same plane the whole trip. It does make one stop but I don't need to change planes. Ii makes a stop in Kansas City.

I would have saved about $100 if I booked a flight with layovers but it isn't worth it to me. I do understand doing it if you have a very restrictive budget though. It's just that I'm only going for a few days so to waste too much time traveling would drive me crazy. I hope everything goes smoothly for you Twisted! I did pick the red eye return flight to save some $$ though. Oh yeah, and Amber, my flight went up like $40 before I booked it too, I was waiting to get paid and in the meantime it went up in price. They usually do, booking early saves $$.

My trip there should be pretty interesting too (all this to save a couple hundred bucks). I'm in Canada and I fly from Wpg to Denver, change planes to San Fransico, change again to fly to Vegas... I leave at about 9am Thursday and don't arrive till around 5pm... so should be about 8 hours of flying on what normally is a few hours flight. On the way back it's just through Denver, but I don't think I change planes, so it's not as bad.... I don't really care, don't mind the flying, just as long as I get there. I just didn't want to break the bank for a two day trip to some place where I really had no desire to go to except for this show.

God bless Southwest Airlines & their direct flights to & from Buffalo & Vegas.

BTW, everyone double check their hotel reservations. We booked through Travelocity way back & Amber found out the price went down by $50 a night since then ! We ended up having to pay a $25 cancellation fee, but we're still saving $75. God bless Amber for being cheap like me.

Ok If anyone is still looking for hotel. I just made a reservation for Harrah's from May 8th to the 13th. It was $49.00 on Sunday and $59.00 a night until Thursday. I am not staying there on Fri and Sat night because the rate jumps to about $200.00 a night. I will keep my other hotel reservation for those nights. I feel so much better becuase at least I know that it is not that bad of a place. I don't mind staying at the other casino for just 2 nights.

I will be on that same plane out of Philly,we should get that party started in the airport lounge before we take off,time permitting of course.
