Rosebud Rhiannon gives me chills to this day.

Edge of 17 from Live in Concert or Storytellers

Gold and Braid from Live in Concert

Angel from Tusk Doc

SOTM from Mirage In Concert

Silver Springs & GDW from The Dance

Stand Back from LIB

Fall From Grace from pretty much any TISL show, but esp. the Billboard Awards

I'll add Straight Back from the Mirage Tour rehearsal boot - oh how I wish there was video of this.

You need to check out some audience tapes from that year: Los Angeles 7-18-86, Jones Beach 6-08-86 & Madison Square Garden 8-05-86.

I love sisters of the moon from that Mirage rehearsal with Thats Alright. She is smoking hot on this one. Her vocals are incredible. If you can track it down get it! Or if youu can't get it PM me and ill send it to you.

Anyway, Stand Back from storytellers has always been awesome to me. I loved her jumping up and down and then the kick at the end. Too bad sharon just stares into space and looks like shes gunna fall asleep.

I Need to Know from Red Rocks is a favorite rocker of mine as well.

:chills: That moment is amazing. She has so much POWER right then.

I love what everyone else loves and it makes me want to bust out my tapes!

Nothing gives me chills like "Silver Springs" from the Dance vid. It rocks in a powerful, dramatic, semi-understated kind of way.

SOTM from Mirage--Yes!

Rosebud Rhiannon

Belladonna GOB, I Need to Know, and EO17

Just about any "Stand Back" performance

I also like Stevie's contribution on "The Chain" from Mirage. She was on fire!

LOVE IT
I think I've watched that scene about a million times. What a great -- albeit coked out out her mind --moment. I've spent so much time trying to figure out exactly what she was shouting into the mic.

And who can deny the drama of Stevie walking gingerly to the edge of the stage following the spin, in tears...mouthing "and you say...no" to the front row. Everyone was acting like it was some kind of meaningful moment...I did too, being only 12 years old and not knowing yet what a drug crash was.

Nothing personal, but I think I'm going to form a club called Stevie Fans Who Don't Think All Her Great Performances Are Drug-Induced!

I could easily join your club. The thread title is about her most rocking performances, which I do think come from the drug years. But her *best*performances are from recent years, Silver Springs and Gold Dust Woman/Dance..Fall From Grace/Blockbuster Awards...Storytellers, etc.

Oh, I think I read your post incorrectly. Are you saying you don't think these performances like SOTM and Gold and Braid are enhanced by her coke use?
