Gold Dust Woman from the Dance is my favorite. So sexy, raw, and powerful.

Edit - Need to add Rhiannon from the Midnight Special.

Gold and Braid and Sara from BD show are my favorites. For some reason every time I watch Sara from BD I cry.

Also want to add Stand Back from SYW Live In Boston. Love the energy.

Further proof that we were separated at birth.

That's my favorite, too, along with Stand Back from Letterman in '98 (the one with the hideous eye makeup) and Rhiannon from the Mirage video.

I don't recall her doing "Stand Back" on Letterman's show. Wasn't it Leno's?
I remember how short her bangs were... like someone tried to even them up, and kept cutting and cutting. Was a great "Stand Back" though.

Going by the criteria of what gets me up on my feet, I would have to pick "Gold And Braid" as my favorite "rockin'" performance.

Any version of Stand Back rocks with me. To me it most rocks at a Fleetwood Mac show because its so unexpected. The Nashville crowd went ape shiit last summer when they all realized what the song was. Stevie's spinning in place at the brigde made them all scream again. The vocal of Stevie's Stand Back from the Tango Concert video kicks major ass too, even though she just stands at the mike stand(thank you klonopin).

We can all thank cocaine for the kickass BD Golden Braid/I Need To Know!!!!

Default tango

Every time Stevie tells that "blob" story when describing what the klonopin did to her, I think of that Tango dvd. My apologies to those who like it..she does look great..but her energy level and committment to the performance are at an all time low. She literally does not move away from the mic.....the only thing I like about the entire dvd is her mini skirt.

back to the topic...favorite rocking performance.
GDW from the Dance. I love the wild eyes and how she just let go.
SoTM and The Chain...mirage
Stand Back...storytellers...love the grinding with Carlos.

BTW...I thought she looked smoking hot throughout Enchanged...Leno included. She was simply gorgeous every time I saw her. My husband, who thinks she is ok but prefers younger Stevie..thinks she is hot as Hell on Storytellers. I do like the jewel thing she did on her head back then too.

okay, definitely Braid from the HBO concert.

but, just to add it though it doesn't necessarily 'rock' - Rhiannon from the Dance. it may be the most beautiful. when she's singing 'take me like the wind child, take me with the sky... take me now' she pulls her hand up to her face and is just more knockout gorgeous at that moment than any other moment in time.
