Anyone else think this sounds like someone trying to fix a broken factory machine or something? Who else can play a guitar solo that sounds like bagpipes? Hot damn. |

Don't Stop....I know strictly, this isn't a lindsey song, but he sings most of it...in particular the SYW tour "live" at Earls court..Nov 9th 2003.
That whole version is absolutely fab, esp coz it's like a football crowd, all singing their sox off and their enthusiasm def rubs off on the lead guitarist who seems to go off on one of his super long crazy solos (somewhat like this crazy post....) anyway, do listen if your'e lucky enough to have it, one of the best "live" versions ever. PS..a no. of Ledgies I know, added their voices to said recording...hehe.

I started off listening to Out of the Cradle and then progressed to Go Insane, I had Law and Order and never realy listened to it apart from Trouble. But hay, the more you listen to the album the more it grows on you and Johnny Stew is a funky little number.
It's almost like I've discovered a new album, the next on my list is Tusk, another album I coundn't get into years ago. Wag Quote:

Welcome to the Ledge, Wag! You wouldn't happen to be a dog, would ya?
![]() Sorry about that bad joke. I did the same thing, I bought OOTC and Go Insane, listened to OOTC mostly, but put off Law and Order. Now, I love them all and L&O does grow on you. Johnny Stew is one of my faves on that album. Shadow of the West if my favorite. Trust me, Tusk will grow on you too. I put that one off because of all the bad stuff I read about it online. Now, it's one of my favorite albums, along with Rumours and Tango.

My favorite LB studio work is mostly on OOTC, Tusk, and Say You Will. If you ask me to pick a song, it will probably be different every time. |

She was just ON. When I first became an FM fan (was a Lindsey fan first), I came online and read people say Tusk was horrible because Lindsey's music was bad, it wasn't like Rumours, etc. It just scared me at first. LOL I eventually bought it and went "WTH is wrong with those morons, this album rules!" I have to say Christine's songs are my least faves on the album.

And while I'm not a C-McV fan, I don't skip past 5 of her 6 songs. Back to topic - my official LB song of the day is Eyes of the World from Live in Boston. Will change tomorrow. |

"Shuffle Riff" (LOVE this) and "She Smiled Sweetly" are my Liddy songs of the moment.
By the way, does anyone know who's doing backing vocals on "She Smiled Sweetly"? At first listen, I thought it was Stevie, but I then it wouldn't have been her, right? ![]() |
