P.S. Come join us at Club Flamingo
That might be a good idea for me since I will be at another hotel. I guess Wednesday will be my relax day. I am not a sun and fun person so I might just a little while. I will be bringing my digital with me , too.

F*ck Hoover damn. It's a really enormous concrete thing holding water back. Big whoop.

I went right after 9/11, so I'm a little bitter. It was closed to tours at the time, so we got to drive over it on our tourbus, take pics & leave. Wow. If they are doing tours & you have the time, go for it. If not, I wouldn't bother.

As a side note - when we went to the dam, we were on our way to Laughlin, NV. Now THAT place is a riot! 50 cent roulette, $1.99 buffet, everything's really tacky - classic! I laughed out loud more than once for various reasons while we were there.

matt's leaving after the show and i'll be alone for a few days... i'm either staying at the Imperial Hotel (hahaha) or the Flamingo. i don't mind staying alone, but i will feel better knowing that there are people i 'know' near by. is the Flamingo the most popular? oh, and i'll be broke so i'll be sitting poolside right next to you guys... at least i'm easily entertained.

It seems that most of us are at Flamingo.

I don't know what i'll do. It's not every day that I fly out west so I want to make the most of my time there and try to pack in everything humanly possible in such a short amount of time. Part of me wants to go and see it but another part of me just wants to stick around Vegas. Decisions...

That sounds like a scene right out of Vegas Vacation

You do realize that if there is so much as one bathing suit shot of us, your ass is getting dumped in the pool, yes?

If you want to go to see the Dam..you should. I know there is so much to see around the strip...I will prolly do that. I want to go to the shops at Caesars and check those out but that won't take much time. I am up for any type of sight seeing. As long as we have plenty of time to get ready for the show, I am game. I figure we can do the pool lounging one morning and fit some other stuff in during the other morning and both afternoons. I do want to do breakfast at the Paris though.
So much to do, so little time.

I would not do that but I do carry that darn thing with me everywhere. I do have to get a small bag to put it in along with my cell phone and a few other things.

I'll wait and see when we get there as far as what to do. I want to hang out with everyone and want to see as much as the strip as I can (i've got coupons for some things for us, btw). I do want to go to the shops with you (and you know the girls will be all about that) and I am totally down for breakfast at Paris (Tuesday morning?) I think Vanessa (you remember Van, yes?), Carlos, and Geno arrive on the 10th and are going to the show that night. We'll have to get them to go out with us too. As much as I talk to Vanessa, this will be my first time meeting her.

You just reminded me...i'll have to turn my cell phone completely off. When I went to Atlanta, I came home and my phone bill was $350 courtesy of roaming charges I could have taken another trip on that.

Does Paris have a good place for breakfast? Anyone know of any other good places to eat? We ate at Spago the last time we were there and it was amazing! There was also a small bar in The Bellagio that served amazing mohitos that I want to go to again. But if anyone else knows of somewhere totally good, can ya let me know.

yeah, I am trying not to use mine right now so that I can use the minutes for Vegas. I am not calling anyone unless it is an emergency. I will give people my hotel # so that people can leave me a message there. I hate to leave home without it, however.

I am old and live in the past. I don't own or want to own a cell phone. "In my day, we didn't have cell phones......and we liked it that way!".
