Hey, no pity for casual fans who go to a Bowie show expecting just the hits! Kids oughta do their homework before they buy their tickets. That goes double for casual Neil Young fans...

I mean, hey, if you want to see a concert that plays to the lowest common denominator, just wait until Fleetwood Mac rolls back into town...

Not to mention he had heart surgery right in the middle of the tour!

I actually managed to pay less for Fleetwood Mac than for Bowie in 2003/2004 since I was able to get up to Milwaukee for the Mac at Summerfest.

Yeah, but I don't need to pay all that money to see or hear them performed more than once. The Mac comes up with the most boring setlists known to mankind. It's nice once, albeit a bit dull because you've heard most of the songs a million times and you know that they're just saying the same thing they've said at every other show, but I couldn't do it over and over and over and over like some can.

I just wonder did most fans complain this much about the set during the dance tour? Or was everyone so excited just to have them back, that they didnt care that it was always the same...with EVEN less rarities than the SYW Tour (which atleast contained some songs never performed live, other than my little demon, sweet girl, bleed to love her and temporary one) unlike the dance..

I think this tour had more odd songs in the set, than any of their other tours..

Total songs not NORMALLY performed on previous tours :

say goodbye, whats the world coming to, red rover, say you will, destiny rules, running through the garden, come, goodbye baby, beautiful child, eyes of the world, i know im not wrong, dont let me down again, sara, world turning (atleast not performed on the dance tour), second hand news (only performed a few times on dance tour), etc..not a bad set list at all IMO, for a band with MANY hits
