As for clothes I am sure that I will get something at Dots. I'll even go to Kmart for a nightgown or some t-shirts.
Pattie, I have seen cute cheap luggage at Target, you may want to check that out. They had the small cart-type bag for $9.99.

You still have plenty of time to get these thigns done, like you said, a little each week.

I hear you about the hair, I'm going friday for a cut and highlight and I think it has been at least 4 months!

I got my carry on at The Christmas Tree shop about 2 years ago. It was about $20.00-$25.00 I think. I think that I might try there again. Target sounds good too and I can get some other stuff there.

I kid you not I have not gotten a hair cut since last May. I need at least 5 inches cut off. I want to do that before I get my license photo taken.

Anyway, I attached a pic of my carry on bag that I love. You can see the rip on top. If you see anything like this around let me know.

Also, Patti - try Marshall's. They had an American Tourister 22 inch carry on for $29.00. Also, Skyway no weight is a very good and moderately priced bad that recently was named the best in its class by the Wall Street Journal and I know many flight attendants who use it because it is the lightest of all. The 22 inch carry on is about $60 with free shipping from most online sources!!!!!

Happy Hunting

Also, you better get that thought of no Vegas out of your head young lady!!!!!

Pattie if you want to repair your bag there is one thing that might work. I got this stuff at Walmart in the sewing section, it's patch fabric that comes in a sheet like 3" wide by 8" long and you trim it to the size you need to mend fabric. Then you iron it on the inside. I have used this for favorite jeans I didn't want to throw out but couldn't be worn in public . This would only cost a couple of bucks. Just a thought.

I never realized it until someone asked me when I was going to Vegas. I said "4 weeks from yesterday." God. Damn. It.

So are we all on the same f*cking cycle? Seriously? Oh, this is gonna be tons of fun. Anyone else bringing Aunt Flo with them?

I went to Kohls yesterday (we just got our first Kohls here. It's OK I guess.) Found a few cute tops. Tried on larges. All too small. Not sure how that works, since I usually wear a medium top & have a B cup.

I am working out, have lost 3 pounds but everything I find does not work - Med is too small, Lg is too big (with the exception of the Kohls tragedy.) Godammit.

Done venting. Have period. Very upset today.

you poor thing....it's alright, you'll feel better in a few days..

That's right! Hey, at least we'll be pretty much equally ugly, relatively. Except the skinny people with great skin.... Wow, stevie really should do SOTM.
It won't be that bad. We can be like the seven dwarves. Pouty, Bloaty, Scowly, Cankles, Chesty, Acne, and Sobby. We can take turn on who is the wicked witch
Oh, and I tried on those ankle strap shoes today at Sketchers, and they didn't look good. There were some holes in the toe part that made them look weird. Now I want to find some like that, but better. *sigh*.

OOOH! OOOH! Can I be Acne? I'm great in that role!

And don't worry about the ankle strap shoes, Amber. Your (c)ankles will be all swelled up in Vegas & they wouldn't have looked right anyway.
