I hope this movie gets released. I really want to see it, and not just for Stevie! I like Tom Petty and David Crosby's comments.

What? I don't get what you mean? I thought Stevie looked beautiful. What was wrong with the camera angle?

It is just a technical thing that probably only I and Dissention would notice I thought she was up shot and did not realize it. She usually is photgraphed dead to front or maybe a little to the side. But, I agree she looked very good.

If the past is any indication, it'll get a premiere on Cinemax. Arquette's stuff usually does.

Yeah. Well. Sorry. I guess the 10 years I've worked in TV have been as big old waste of time.

Personally, I thought she looked completely natural. And I'd bet the camera sitting to her left was just a little more than a little obvious to her. Tough to hide those buggers. People vary camera positions all the time for interviews. Especially when they know they will be intercutting them, as in an interview-heavy doc. It helps to have some people looking left, some right, some just to off centre, etc.

yeah, exactly, about your first point.
I thought the angle was totally normal. It was from the side and didn't seem upshot, either.

I think she looks great... Actually, she looks thinner than she does now... I wonder when that interview with her was shot... my guess would be either 2001 or before...

Then you should be able to tell that she looks like she is talking into the the wrong camera

But seriously, I think the angle of that shot looks different to what she normally does and she she usually looks at the camera. It works though and I am not slamming it or, for that matter, you

Also and unrelated to the above, everyone else's shots are pretty candid with little lighting and with what appears to be more than one hand held camera. Her shot, lord love her, appears less than candid and with fab. lighting -- I do not blame her as it makes her look great. I mean that is a woman in her 50's and she looks much younger than that.

Anyone going?
The angle she's chosen to tell the story seems intriguing, I'm curious to see it.

I really want to see this. I love how Chrissie said something about hating that fashion has anything to do with R&R. All I could think of was Stevie's outfits.

And how cute is Stevie saying "half-assed?"

Steven Tyler? Shut up please. I'm sure your music is worth a bit more than 12 cents.

This is such a pet peeve of mine. The "you are too rich already so I am going to steal from you" is a lame excuse that no one wants applied to them.

Who determines who makes so much that they should work for free and/or not mind when people steal their work product? That is an arbitrary standard by which none of us would like to be judged. I am sure none of us want some homeless person walking into our homes and taking food off of our table and justifying it by saying "you have too much already" Surely in that instance the homeless person is correct in that most of us have far more than they do Downloading for free someone's commercially available product is the same thing as that just on a smaller scale.

Then, what about the people the record companies have to let go because sales decline? I am sure they would just love your reasoning In fact, I think they should come to your house and stay with you when they lose their homes. After all, under your reasoning that is enough to justify taking your house

Finally, I think the minute we all have enough to sustain us at the barest minimum, we should just give our services and the remainder of our money away. Better yet, I think GM makes too much money, so why don't I just go and steal myself a car You could also just walk into Target and take the CD, after all I am sure Target makes enough money as well.

Again, this is a huge pet peeve of mine. If you want the music, buy it. If you cannot afford it - tough, you have to wait until you can afford it. You are owed nothing in this world and it is stealing to take it without paying for it no matter how you rationalize it.

On another note, I think the music industry is silly not to recognize the marketing potential of downloading. But that is a whole other topic.

Here we go again...

Save yourself energy and time by just linking to the same opus from a previous thread, darling.
