Rolling Stone has been utter **** since its inception, it's just that the ****tiness factor rises as the years wear on. Their reviews are good to line birdcages with, but not much else.

I really dont like the list, because they dont really go into underground influential bands or anything, but stay to a mainstream level. Which is fine, but at least spread yoru view and thier about the same every year..so why do you have the need to make a magazine and put the same 90 or so artists every year. I'm not upset the Mac didnt get it, I am sure tis because their no where as good as Eminiem rolleyes: I mean come on who knew that Nirvana would be on there too, sometiems i wodner if Nirvana would be on there if they didnt release "Smells Like Teen Spirit"?

I hear what you're saying about Nirvana, but whether you like it or not, they were a very influential and (dare I say?), "groundbreaking" band. They were, that's all there is to it. Whether or not anyone wants to agree with that statement after much musical cynicism and blurry hindsight post 1990's is up to them. I think Dave Grohl is aces too. I'm glad he was chosen to write about Led Zeppelin.

The Mac so totally should have been in the top 100. I mean, they can't even make #100?!?!? Wtf is up with that bull****?

Well, dear, the Mac didn't make it, The Pretenders didn't make it, and Blondie didn't make it. Simply proves what **** list it is.
