I was hoping someone would resurrect this thread. I just got a super great black tank dress, clingy, hits just below the knee (is there anything better than long black tank dresses? No!) and another skirticus. It's a little longer than skirticus I, and it has a bit of pink piping (it's black, of course). It's all thin and flowy. Asymmetrical hemline. Soooo flattering, for my fatass.

I love pink piping! Sounds fabulous, the a-line skirts that are in are perfect for the bootylicious bod.

Well I just bought a Farberware cooking set

All this talk of clothes...and I'm buying pans But all I had were these crappy Wal-Mart bought pans that were already approachin unusable....

So I went to Kohl's and got a nice Farberware set for like 50% off - now I'm totally enjoying cooking

----

this weekend, however, I'm going to take part of my tax refund and buy some spring clothes I'm very excited....yea shopping!!

Yes! Let me know what you get!

What's funny about your pot purchase was when you posted about getting those and then reading with your dog I was thinking of how cool of a night that was and then you said you must be getting old. I was like, um, oh yeah. ;-) Good cookware is a must though, isn't it? I got myself the nonstick Calphalon at Target and have never looked back. Good stuff!

I feel so lame sometimes - but eh that's just me

Yeah - I'll post my purchases...I'm hoping to find some cute and flattering clothes...I'm completely burned out with what I have now - this week was hell - no money and I felt like I looked gross in all my clothes ..then I'd remind myself that there are people in this country who can't even afford gross clothes - and that I should be thankful for what I do have

Still...I'm excited about getting new clothes

And yeah - I got the pots and pans...next I'm buying some baking sheets...the ones I have are AWFUL...they were uber cheap...and they warp in the oven due to VERY poor heat distribution... cooking/baking is a lot better with good stuff which which to do it

I haven't been spring clothes shopping yet. I have to check what I have in storage from last year to see what I have (and if it fits, lol.) But with my house in shambles right now, it's not possible.

I did find this awesome chiffon-ny green & blue swirly longish halter top (enough adjectives?) last week, but the med was a tiny bit too small & the lg was enormous. It would look great with jeans. It would be a perfect Vegas top. Maybe I'll go back & grab it & have my friend at work alter it for me.

Other than that - I got a new digital camera (Kodak 4.1 megapixel w/ 3x optical zoom & a free charging dock.) But it's for my birthday from hubby & he's not letting me use it until my actual birthday. Jerk.

Actually, I totally understand the pots and pans thing. Score.
I just keep having to buy cheap new ones. I really, really, want a cast iron frying pan, but they are pretty expensive.

YUP! I have the old 2.1mp Kodak & I do love it, but it's old & has no zoom. I've been waiting for prices to come down & they finally did. All the reviews I've read have highly recommended it - good to know you agree!

Nice. I've still got to check out DSW for shoes. Good luck with your Vegas shopping!

I'm paying a visit to Aldo and Steve Madden. There's a DSW around the corner here from work. I haven't hit that in several months so i'm looooong overdue. Hopefully it will be a successful shopping trip
