You can listen to their entire first album at http://www.julietteandthelicks.com . Got Love To Kill and Shelter Your Needs are my favorites. 20 Year Old Lover is great, too. Their second one comes out May 17th and from the little clips that I've heard, it's even more brilliant than the first. Juliette Lewis was born to be a rock star. Her and her band puts on one of the best live rock shows I've ever seen. I've been a fan for quite awhile and more people need to discover them, seriously.

Don't listen at work, though, the lyrics are pretty explicit.

Yup, that Juliette Lewis. Homegirl has one helluva ****ing voice. They take sex and make music out of it. The player on their website just got the new remix for Got Love To Kill and it's better than the album version, I've been in heaven for the past few days. They sound like a rock band should.

that sounds good. Didn't she do her own singing for that movie....crap! the futurey one with Angela Basset and Ralph Fiennes? End of Days? I really liked that movie. Anyway, she sounded good, there, I'm about to listen.
By the way, there is an online petition to get Heart inducted into the RR hall of fame. i thought the radio guy said Heart.com, or heartmusic.com, but neither of those panned out. Anyway, they sure deserve it, I tell you what.

I love that movie! Angela Bassett kicks ass. Thank the stars they're giving her something to do on Alias now.

I'd love to see Blondie and Heart inducted before I die, but who knows if that'll happen. They take forever to induct the good artists and bands. Though they certainly made me happy when they inducted The Pretenders this year.

I think it's a pretty sad state of affairs when the likes of U2 get inducted before Heart and Blondie, but that's just me...

They are utterly fabulous. Can't wait for the new record.

I had the CD in my car stereo and had to give my neighbor a ride to Whole Foods. She's in her fifties, very prim and proper. I turn on the car and Shelter Your Needs comes blasting through the stereo. My neighbor looked like she was going to have a stroke (and looked quite disgusted) when she heard her say "Put it in my hand and tell me how much pressure it takes to get you off." She hardly said a word the whole way to the store...
