Default Stevie's Backstage Requirements

I am not sure if this has been discussed before, but . . .

Interesting reading on The Smoking Gun:

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/backsta...vienicks1.html

I thought Stevie took a shot of tequila before each show, but this doesn't show it. Funny, her choice of alcoholic beverages.

That is interesting. I believe I've seen it before, but, still an interesting thing to read. I think this is pretty old. I wonder what year it's from exactly? I think the tequilla thing is a more recent deal.

One of things listed is Koala Drink. What the heck is Koala drink? Did Stevie pick up a new pet and wanted to make sure it had something to drink? Where are the eucalyptis leaves?

I wonder if maybe some of those items listed are for other people, as well (that may be visiting her before the show). Like, if you were entertaining in your house, you would have stuff that maybe you wouldn't drink, but others would. That was pretty cool! (Hi, I'm Janet, btw)

Default rider

This has been on the SG for a few years and I think it is quite old. I imagine her requests would be a bit different these days and WOULD include tequila. I also agree that the requests could be for other people as well, like Sharon, Mindy, Karen etc. My guess as to what she asks for now?
Coffee
Equal
various alcohol, including tequila
Gas X
Tums
gum...she is always chomping.
I seriously cannot see her asking for much food, I doubt she eats before the show and it would be a waste of money.
Interesting read.
There is another one or two with the Mac requirements from the Tusk?, I think Tusk tour. Damn, they requested a boatload of booze. Cases of champagne, cases of wine, ccases of beer, plus various hard liquor etc. I remember gatorade being on there as well, a specific flavor and lots of it. Wonder who drank that? I think Lindsey drinks alot of Coke.

Default requests

I remember when Vh1 did a Pop-up vidoe for Divas Las Vegas they said that Stevie requested 2 whole chickens in her dressing room before the show, so she must be eating something.

Having done theatre, I can tell you that once you are backstage, that is it. You cannot really leave in the middle of dressing and walk down to the 7/11 for a Diet Coke Thus, the development of these riders, which the venues actually request in an effort to be more organized.

I especially enjoyed the fact that Stevie requests beef kababs and ribs! What a carnivore!

at least stevie nicks is a *real* star. when i was in college, we hosted a concert put on by a one-hit-wonder that you probably wouldn't remember. her rider was RIDICULOUS and her manager was a total jerk, he complained that the sliced chicken was too thick and he absolutely FUMED because we didn't get a bottle of liquor for this lady. IT WAS A DRY, JESUIT COLLEGE IDIOT. though i did apologize for the chicken...

a friend of mine worked backstage for the Crow in Central Park, she "didn't know i was such a huge fan" or she would've gotten me backstage . she said that stevie's list was pretty reasonable, but she did ask for tequila.

I know - I wanna know too

My fav. is when the one hit wonders sink to performing their one hit at a local dance club.

Based on her vacant, disconnected look at the Pond in 2003, I'd say Stevie had used the tequila to wash something down.
