Arrow Hmmm...

Hunting High and Low - A-Ha (Take On Me is a great tune, but that entire album is greatness!!)

Nouveaux - Beginnings (Terrific Christian rock album..one of my faves)

Rumours - Fleetwood Mac (dayum, they just can't catch a break, huh?)

Buckingham Nicks - Buckingham Nicks (whatever happened to those two?)

Even in my old age, I still have skin like a baby's ass. And don't you forget it.

Yeah. Too bad they don't perform any of the songs from the album live.

For real! I bet Stevie could really pull off that airy voice she has on that track these days.

How about The Chain? It would make a great opener.

Heathen wasn't underrated here in the UK. It was even nominated for the Mercury Music award in 2002.
He was beaten by Ms Dynamite that year I think.
He desperately needed a good album after the monstrosity that is the Hours... album.

You know I actually really like the Hours album. I totally love the track Thursday's Child and Seven and Survive are pretty good too.
The one I've never liked is Earthling. I just didn't get Bowie doing the jungle/dance thing. I like I'm Afraid Of Americans (great lyrics) but the rest I can't take to.
The only other Bowie albums to get a thumbs down from me are Tonight (apart from Blue Jean and Loving The Alien) and Never Let Me Down (no redeeming tracks at all!).

I do love Bowie though, I even like the first Tin Machine album!

Hours, Tonight, and Never Let Me Down are the only ones I do not and can not listen to. I rushed out to get Hours the day it was released and practically cried when I listened to it. I just find it...dull. It's so uninteresting and middle of the road adult contemporary crap, I never would have expected anything quite like it. I'm glad he scrapped the Toy album, lawd knows what it must have sounded like.

I like Earthling quite a bit, but I also like Black Tie White Noise, so...

I like Black Tie White Noise. I remember when it came out, it was like phew, he can still make good music! Jump They Say is awesome.

I think you should give Hours another go, or at least Thursday's Child. It really is a grower believe me.

I love Hours too and am iffy on Earthling. "Thursday's Child" is one of my favorite Bowie songs.

A lot of Mellencamp's later stuff is overlooked. The self-titled album of a few years ago is very good.
