Rod Price, 57, lead guitarist for Foghat died Tuesday from the head trauma related to a fall down a flight of stairs in his New Hampshire home.

RIP Rod, boogie your way to the pearly gates.

Gosh, that is such a freak accident. You wouldn't think falling down the stairs could kill you, but I guess it can. RIP, Rod.

Apparently, according to one of the articles I read (can't remember which one now), he fell as a result of a heart attack. But, the head trauma has been named as the actual "cause of death".

Yep, that was what I had invisioned in my mind as to what had probably happened. It is sad to hear that he might have survived it, if he hadn't been on those stairs.
