I think M.M. is one of the absolute best backing vocalists Stevie has ever had. The way she, Sharon, Lori and Stevie sound together on the various 'Rock A Little' tracks is "something exquisite" to these ears.

On March 17th two radio stations in Vegas broadcast interviews with Stevie:

97.1 The Point (Classic Hits): In this interview Stevie mentioned that she likes American Idol and would definitely try out if she was a young aspiring singer. She also said that a back-up singer who had not performed with her for a long time would likely sing with her at the Vegas shows.

Star 102.7 (80s Music): Stevie said the Vegas shows would have to be much bigger and flamboyant than a normal show, something that would be too much to take on the road. She talked about seeing both Celine and Elton at the Colosseum and being amazed at the massive size of the stage. She also discussed how she will pick songs for the show (lots of discussion with input from her associates) and said that she will be bringing out a lot of her old costumes that she hasn't worn in years. She also promised lots of spinning (the DJ wanted to make sure that would be part of the show).

Perhaps I should go to Vegas...

I heard both of those interviews and my excitment went through the roof. Just hearing Stevie's voice, and I was reduced to a giddy idiot.

Although, the dj on Star 102.7 was just terrible. Saying stuff like, you are going to twirl aren't you, because if not why even go? Hardy har har. Dumbass. Stevie did say since the stage at Caesar's is so huge that the show will be 'more elaborate'. And yes she'll be twirling in many different outfits. We'll see................

Oh, and I'll bet anybody (it is Vegas), that she plays Nightbird.

Oh, I do love me some RAL backing vocals so point taken on the MM. However, Lori? I'd die.

If Lori backs her up...I will die. I can't believe I am going to miss this! Someone needs to take awesome notes nd post detailed reviews. Maybe I should just go.

Maybe you should.

I'd like to think that I would try to jot down some details, but if this is going to be as good as I think it will, I don't know if I'll be able to, the shock of different songs & clothes might do me in. I may die.

I thought it was a made-up joke question by the poster! Wow! I can't believe someone asked that and then got a fairly candid answer back. Lori kind of tipped her hand a bit...I hope Stevie doesn't get mad! Oh well, like we all didn't know she was a hard-headed drug addict. No new news there.

Yeah, but I think there was more going on there than that. He was kind of calling her out and she wasn't having it. I don't blame Stevie for getting irritated. Also, how would Lindsey have reacted if the tables were turned?

I'm not trying to start WWIII again...just innocently responding to this.

I think Elisecia on the Red Rocks DVD on HAEWFY is spine chilling. In all seriousness I am tempted to scrap Japan and head off to Vegas instead...but it's so much sooner than Japan so it would be hard t save enough in time.
