as did Jennifer G & Sara M. and I have tried to be as sharing as these 3 have towards me...I'm not afraid to share my collection since like Nancy said it's my choice not an obligation.

My problem is that I am also a musical perfectionist who is always looking to improve upon what I own or have in my possession

I know there are quite a few Tina fans on the board and I just came across this one:

Ike & Tina Turner Revue w/the Family Five
03-24-74
U of Maine at Portland-Gorham, Gorham, ME

Source: AUD > MC [Joe Maloney; maloneyjoe68_at_aol_dot_com] > shn by
Jamie Salerno [jjs4_at_cwru_dot_edu]

Disc 1 Set I [1:11:18]

1. Also Sprach Zarathustra
2. Space Race
3. El Burrito
4. I Feel Alright
5. Theme from Shaft
6. Intro
7. Sweet Soul Music
8. A Little Help From My Friends
9. Get Back
10. A Love Like Yours
11. Come Together
12. Nutbush City Limits
13. Proud Mary
14. I've Been Loving You Too Long
15. I Want To Take You Higher
Encore
16. Respect

The sound is incredible and so is Tina! I'll be seeding it throughout the weekend in case anyone wants to grab it.

Yes it is your right to judge me! I'm running for the heavyweight title Stubborn Pain In The A$$. Do I get your vote?

Nancy, maybe you didn't read the whole thread? I didn't say I wouldn't share. Sheezie wheeezie! Where's that coming from?

Highway Woman implied the same thing. I don't understand how not uploading to easytree equals not sharing?

People can always get stuff from me the old fashioned way.

Sure, I didn't have to mention having dvds, but I've posted here about it before. I didn't do it for the purpose of bragging. I remember back when few people were making them, Brian, Neil and I posted to other threads about making dvds. I don't have a trade page, so maybe you didn't know. A lot of dvds I created are trading freely all over the place. You probably have one in your own collection. If not, PM me and let's do something about it.

Nancy, I've even sent out free things to newbies on your board. Why is it whenever I try to discuss something about rules for sharing, I always end up being painted as one who doesn't share? If I had a big ego I think I'd be feeling bad right about now.

I'm pretty sure I got Stevie at the US Festival from you a few years back but given my outspoken political proclivities around here, feel free to deny any association with me. I got much enjoyment out of that and if it was you, thank you very much.

Sorry! I actually haven't had time to get caught up on the whole thread - it's pretty long and I haven't been to the Ledge in a while. I saw this thread was happening again and I thought maybe new shows were getting posted, so I read the new stuff and thought I would thrown in my two cents! Looks like my piping up didn't add much to the convo after all! lol I wasn't aware of your trading, but I'm a pretty unobservant person overall, so don't take offense. I've also been very self-absorbed lately and kind of "out of the loop."

I know you are a good, unselfish person, glitter_fades.

You're welcome. Here's another that was just uploaded this morning (and there's a Tina DVD I'll try to seed this weekend, too):

TINA TURNER - Planet Live 1996
Recorded live at the ArenA in Amsterdam, September 6-8, 1996, part of "Wildest Dreams Tour." Includes interview segments.

Tina Turner - Planet Live! (PL/TTRN01/01)
1. Whatever You Want / Do What You Do
2. River Deep, Mountain High / Missing You / In Your Wildest Dreams / Golden Eye
3. Private Dancer / We Don't Need Another Hero
4. Let's Stay Together / I Can't Stand The Rain / Undercover Agent For The Blues / Steamy Windows

Tina Turner - Planet Live! (PL/TTRN01/02)
1. Giving It Up / Better Be Cool / Addicted To Love / Simply The Best
2. What's Love Got To Do With It / Proud Mary
3. Nutbush City Limits / Something Beautiful Remains / Silent Wings
4. Interview: What changes are you making to your show on this tour?
5. Interview: Does dancing come naturally to you?

Ripped from original distribution master discs using Exact Audio Copy (secure mode and calibrated drive). The original tracks were untitled on the discs and contained multiple songs. The multi-song/track format is retained. There was no artwork associated with thse discs. The labels were plain text. An accompanying cue sheet provided track/song listings. The interview tracks are labeled based on content.

I think most people have this... But it's up on easytree today:

Don't say that!!! You always have something intelligent to say.

EDIT:

Since you both mentioned the same thing I went back and read what I said earlier in the thread and found this sentence ...if you don't like what we do with a show, don't share it. My only answer to that is...Ok. I won't.

My apologies to you and Highway Woman. I didn't mean I wouldn't share at all just not via easytree. My bad. Everybody spank me.

I linked to these pages in another BT thread that we had earlier, but I guess it's better to put the links here too. This is basically just some instructions on how to detect mp3-sourced audio:

http://www.audiohub.org/get/fa/fa.htm

http://www.audiohub.org/get/fa/sa.htm

You don't necessarily have to use Exact Audio Copy for these, it's enough if you just use a program that has spectral analysis as one of its features. Rule of thumb: if there's a blank area in the analysis (usually above 16 kHz), compression is involved, and if that compression looks like it's artificial then it's mp3-source you're dealing with.

The GOSYW compilation isn't the only seed that's been mp3-sourced as of late, the 1972 Seattle and Sindelfingen shows plus all tracks (minus "Gypsy") of the Bella Donna From A Parallel Universe torrent are all mp3-sourced as well. But I do believe the seeders weren't aware of this.

If you're not sure what source is on your disc, don't share it at Easytree, it's better that you post it as mp3s elsewhere.

Sure, if you get your copy of Azureus from elsewhere than its official homepage http://azureus.sourceforge.net/. I've never had such problems with it myself.

I honestly had no idea the Seattle & Sindelfingen shows were mp3 sourced. I got them from a trader of the early Mac and other artists, outside of the FM/SN trading community. I'm sorry.
Thank you for the links. They'll come in very handy.

5. Theme from Shaft
Theme From Shaft on this is a hoot. I love this boot.
Just as an aside, I d/l'ed an Elvis show from '75 that didn't sound near as good as this one. What is kind of surprising to me is how stunning his voice still was towards the end, especially on It's Now Or Never.
The tracker is so fun, I hope it lasts.

Elvis always had a good voice, I just think his schtick started to overshadow it eventually. Kinda sad.

My favorite from the Ike and Tina boot is "I've Been Loving You Too Long". It's soooo good. For someone who had a head and chest cold, she put on a damn fine show.

All of the "Joe Maloney" boots I've downloaded have been pretty superb quality-wise, so I always try to grab them when I can.

Stevie Nicks - Live Space 1993

easytree

Okay, here's what I know about this one. I acquired it through a trade
and it was labeled "Live Space 1993." However, I believe tracks 1-9 were
recorded at the Whisky on 11/14/91 and the last tracks were recorded
in Houston, TX on 10/8/89. I believe both recordings are SBD, if not they're
really good audience recordings.

1. Outside The Rain
2. Dreams
3. Talk To Me
4. Stand Back
5. Whole Lotta Trouble
6. Love's A Hard Game To Play
7. Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
8. Edge Of Seventeen
9. Landslide
10. Rooms On Fire
11. Gold Dust Woman
12. Alice

Also....

Stevie Nicks w/ Don Henley & Sheryl Crow Live in Los Angeles, CA 10/10/01

Disc 1

1. Bootylicious
2. TISL Intro
3. Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
4. Enchanted
5. Dreams
6. Gold Dust Woman
7. Sorcerer
8. My Favorite Mistake
9. Everyday
10. Rhiannon
11. Stand Back

Disc 2

1. Everyday Is A Winding Road
2. Too Far From Texas
3. Leather & Lace
4. Fall From Grace
5. Edge Of Seventeen
6. I Need To Know
7. Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You
