One of my friends was getting rid of a bunch of CDs. Alot of them weren't even opened.

So being the opportunist that I am, I made him an offer for them. I got about 50-60 mint CDs. Everything from glam to death metal.

I also just bought a new car

My Dad got a Webcam that has pretty good resolution so I took some pictures of my ring. Due to lighting and poor resolution (compared to high end cameras or film) these pictures do not do the ring (nor my manicure

) justice. But I promised to get some up for Amber ASAP, so here they are.

I also took some film pics and will post when I have them developed.

Wow, how do you ever stop staring at it? And those aren't even very good pics! (although your dad has way better lighting for his webcam)
I like how it has a lot of space in it's design; how it spreads....
It looks like it has a tiny old fashioned touch, too, which is nice. I don't know if it does, that's just what it looks like in those pics. Excellent. Magnifique.

It's a 1/2 karat of diamonds but the setting makes it look like much more.

My Dad's Webcam seems to pick up light very well, he bought one of the more expensive ones. Mine was like $12.

Yeah, it spreads out the diamonds all around your finger.

My webcam was free - but I think it's also my house lighting.

Yes I know it was kind of a joke. The funny thing is my Mom got me an early birthday present, which is a sterling silver and amethyst ring, and I love it almost as much as the diamonds. Believe it or not, I'm not a jewelry snob! And, I really do love your ring, it's a nice shape, and you have nice hands to show it off! There is this great jewelry store here in Boston called Local Charm that has the most gorgeous sterling/semi-precious jewelry and it is actually priced reasonably.

They have the drawers all unlocked so you can try everything on, which I practically did! I have never been in there until this week because I wasn't "allowed".

That's the kind of place I am bound to make an unplanned purchase.

I went to my "not allowed" store to get this, too. It's a tibetan jewelry store, up on the expensive ave. It's not that expensive, though. Your other ring sounds really pretty! and since your new diamond ring isn't gold, you can wear it with your silver jewelry, in theory.

I always try a bunch of stuff on to, and change my mind, and try combinations...I feel sorry for the salesclerks if they are waiting there for me.

WOW! I lOVE that dress!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could wear stuff like that, but my over large chest makes it nearly impossible. THat is beautiful though, great buy!

I saw it online and popped into the store to see if they had it and they did. Good thing cuz it's already sold out online! I don't have to worry about extra boobage falling out

. It's a very flattering cut for me, a little more bare than I normally wear but it's Vegas, baby!

Very Vegas appropraite! I never buy dresses cause I don't have anywhere to wear them. I always look, want, and talk myself out of it knowing they won't get much action!

I hear ya. I can't remember the last time I bought such a dress. But this is an occasion! And I had a coupon.
