Did they post a transcript? Knowing CNN, they'll probably rerun it on Saturday like they do with all their celebrity interviews, though.

Here's the part I was talking about:
ALLEY: I had depression for about 10 days -- well, I'll call it depression. But I'll call more humiliation. I -- one day I woke up and I went -- well, I owed the IRS some money -- my accountant and myself had made a little error, like, a decimal point. And I went, oh my God, now I'm going to be poor, old, and I'm fat. OK. I am done.

So I stayed in the bed under my covers, except for when my kids would come home from school, I'd be like, hey, how you doing? Good to see you. How did you do in school today? But when they were gone, I was just -- I was just hiding. And then one day and I went -- I just woke up, and that's when I created the show.

KING: Really, coming out of that?

ALLEY: I just said, you know what? You either throw in the towel or you know -- and you know, I used to have this option sitting there -- this is so sick, but I'll tell you. OK.

I had this option sitting there when -- you know, if you don't want to act anymore, you don't want to do this, you can marry a billionaire. It's so -- I know, that's so sick. But then I went, OK, you're fat. You're not going to get a billionaire. Billionaires don't want fat girls. So then I was freaking out because I was like, OK, if you don't want to work anymore and the billionaire's out, what the hell are you going to do? So I freaked out. And then I thought, Do you want the billionaire? I thought, Maybe but later. OK. But I do -- I know that I still want to act and I still want to work. So that's when I got creative.

Kind of contradicts her high praise of Scientology and what it supposedly teaches, eh?

I wish her the best because I really do like her, but either she's spouting feces to get good ratings or the wacky Scientologists have some nasty dirt on her and she's giving them millions to keep shut.

Poor thing. Exactly what does the word "poor" mean to her?

Probably not being able to replace the 800 ct. Versace Egyptian cotton slipcover on her car seat every three hours after staining it with mayo and special sauce during the last jaunt to Mickey D's.

She's about as poor as I am black.

The bit with Kelly Preston about purging in style had me on the floor.

"Use a Mountblanc pen."
"That pretty Hollywood face with an Oakland booty."

I didn't even realize it was Kelly Preston until they rolled the credits. I didn't recognize her with the black hair.

Me too. Oh well. This show sounds interesting but I don't get Showtime.

I agree with you that Kirstie is around 203 lbs or less now. I can't believe those stupid magazines and tabloids said she was over 300 lbs I doubt she was even 230 lbs but those kind of rags like to lie about everything She is a tall woman and can carry the extra weight well. It is sad when people think skinny, dumb girls like Paris Hilton is the norm. I rather watch normal weight older women (average size for women is a 12-14) on tv. I am sure when she was on Cheers, she was a size 6-8 since she was pretty slim back then. She looks to be a size 16 now and she seems to be doing well on her diet too. People who are very, very overweight cannot even move very well. Kirstie doesn't seem to have a problem moving her body at all. haha Watched the show last night and love it It is great to see which actor/actresses will be on the shows now.

Kirstie was right about men in Hollywood. No one makes fun of them and a lot of them like Jim Belushi and Kevin James have their own tv shows and not worry about their weight problems It comes down to double standards and the way this country is about overweight women. Women like Kirstie, Stevie, Natalie, or Oprah are still beautiful women even when they were a little overweight I rather see women and men enjoy enjoy a good meal than have problems with alcohol or drugs

She looks heavier than 200 to me, after seeing the show. I hope she loses the weight.

There is already a new commerical out. She's lost 25 lbs since signing on as a spokeswoman.

It's ironic because her agent on the show pitches her by saying "I've heard she's lost a lot of weight."
I hope that it all works out for her and her coffers are not being drained by the likes of Scientology.
