I was checking out the contestant profiles just now.

Scott has a kid.

Am I the only one who didn't know this?

OK, Joe has "N/A" for half his answers (how do you put N/A for "what are your goals?")

Carrie too - but she answered "what would people be most surprised to learn about you:

"I can't buy underwear."

HUH?

Oh, Mikalah - if you have to say "I'm not stuck up at all" then you probably are.

Ooh, yeah. I was embarrassed for Constantine. He's trying much too hard to be cool. Bo, on the other hand, is much more natural and more talented.

Please Mikalah, tone it done tonight. I hope Janay can relax. Maybe both of them need a tranquilizer or something. As for Lindsey, Amanda and Celena--Amanda and Celena are both waay too skinny. All I could think of last week when they were singing was that I wanted to give them both a sandwich. I think I like Lindsey's voice best of those three, but it's true that they all have been rather unimpressive.

This is a trainwreck so far and it's only 8:25. There's only one performance i've enjoyed thus far. Surpise...it's Mikalah and even she wasn't 100% vocally strong.

I thought she was awesome. Jessica did excellent as well.

I didn't see the first girl...whoever that was. I like Mikalah's voice. She reminds me of a Toni Braxton crossed with Sade. I think as the competition goes on, she'll improve even more

She has a good voice but she does sound very showtuney to me (and that's not a bad thing) so I don't know if that'll win her idol unless she steps it up a notch and shows some versatility.

I like her, but then again I don't. I think if she continues on, it will just be the exact same thing every week. She likes the cheese that's for sure.

Agreed.

And Janay...why the hell are you singing Blue Cantrell? Just because Paris had her digits in her sidekick doesn't mean she's cool. This song blew 4 years ago when it was out. Thumbs down.
