She was so natural, warm, and radiant in Sideways. She looks better and acts better now than when she was young. To top it all off, she just seems like a real class act. I guess Hollywood loved Cate's turn as Kate Hepburn, especially now that Ms. Hepburn passed...Oh well, it's too bad, I just think Virginia Madsen was flawless in Sideways.

She was beyond words. I hope her comeback keeps going strong, she deserves it, especially since she has the incredible talent to back it up. I don't understand the Cate win. She hasn't been winning ANY awards for The Aviator.

I look at the actual performances, not past work, and between Cate and Virginia, I thought Virginia was better.
