Exactly! It is also quite ridiculous how anyone who does not find the constant barrage of insults hurled Stevie's way to be funny, is repeatedly told to "lighten up" or "learn how to take a joke". I am a huge Lindsey fan. I adore him as much, if not more than Stevie at times..so I am not a chiffonhead, persay..but I still find the amount of hurtful things said about her upsetting. Saying that is like pissing in the wind though as I will be told to "go worship her some more" or "learn to accept her faults".

There have been some, over the top, quite shocking things said on the BN board. Most of the time those posts are left by young, naive, inexperienced or just plain stupid, fans. There are also some informative, interesting discussions over there and those threads strongly out number the psycho babble. When the post appeared regarding Jessie being SnL's love child, the girl was run off that board as quickly as the newbies and shipper's are run off this one.

Very true Kelly. I don't see that much of the crazy talk over at the bn forum. Everyonce in awhile it pops up, but I've been on that board for over a year now, and I think there are alot of good disscusions...definatly out-weighing the psyco babble.

Just as the great number of wonderful discussions about Stevie and the fans love for her far here at the Ledge far outweigh a few insults and criticisms by a few members every once in a while.

No one said that the comments don't go over the top sometimes, but it seems there's a huge double standard when it comes to put downs and insulting posts and who is fair game. There are many great things about the BN forum besides the shipper aspect (as I pointed out in my original post) but generalizing and coloring anything with one huge brushstroke isn't fair. It's also not fair to keep blaming the negative comments and over the top discussions and actions on a few young people, but I guess that depends on what someone's opinion of over the top is.

I forgot about the STAR system and your constant reminder to JT and those idiots about how dumb it was. I cant remember, did they take away your stars when you did something wrong?......like that was going to shatter your tiny little world! LOL

Speaking of their dumb system, they all got into a huge fight last year when they were trying to come up with a new system or names for their STAR MEMBERS who had 10,000 or 1 BAZILLION posts. I believe GOD was being considered for the top honor , I dont remember what they settled on, but it was funny watching the moderators still threatening to close down the thread because their GODlike members couldn't agree on something.

To be honest, I really don't know for sure. I always though it had something to do with the presumed ongoing romantic relationship between Stevie and Lindsey. I assumed the term was used for fans who wanted them to be together? NOTE: I really don't know for sure, so this is only a guess or something I assumed so please no flames if I assumed wrong
