I'd image that alot of that footage probably had stuff on it that is less than positive considering all the drugs and alcohol they were using. I don't know though...
If they do have tapes it's probably mixed in with hundreds of hours worth of footage, I don't see Stevie wanting to wade through that but I would think knowing how important it would be to Mathew (never knowing his mother) she would want him to have some of that priceless footage and would have had someone try to find it.

Its kind of funny that the fans have better access to that old footage then the band............its also sad and says a lot that we're probably never going to get a release of all the good stuff they have.

Eh, they just don't want to be bothered with releasing quality stuff anymore. Unless it's Rumours Part 87, forget it.

It was sad because they totally believed they had a right to know and that calling her or badgering the band's management about it was absolutely normal. They were not going to stop persuing it until they found out what the band thought of their cards and gifts.

She deserves to be called the Queen of the USA for having to deal with such utter ****. She should be sent roses every other day.

Seriously, I feel so bad for the chick, the ugly gossip on the internet about her is just obscene.

Insane Fans 101

I wouldn't know where to look for their actual review of their FM hotel adventure when this all started, maybe its on the BN site in their fan review section.

Warning: Don't read this before bedtime
Oh my good God! My head exploded the first time I read that thread. I'm now picking up the little pieces of my brain again!! Great. I had bigger and better plans for my day...

The other thing about the whole Matthew "connection" to Stevie... Stevie married Kim when Matthew was an infant. They divorced, like, how many months later? And then she saw neither of them for years and years. I tend to doubt he really thinks of Stevie as his "stepmother" or really, anything else besides his late mother's best friend. I think any of the rabid fans who think talking to him and getting close to him is going to get them some deep, hidden inside juice on Stevie will be sadly mistaken. My guess is he knows her, has met her a few times, but is hardly a "close" family member. You know?

The whole thing is very...fech.

Love Stevie and her music, but sometimes the need to know about her personal life and all the juicy details about her failed marriage and such comes across as distasteful and scary. No one would be interested in this dude if he wasn't Matthew (not that I believe he is). It's all very disconcerting.

Apparently if it weren't for Stevie, he wouldn't be living in California right now. She helps him out a lot and they do speak.

As far as people talking to him for inside information, while I'm certain they are, he's not going to come out and say things that he wouldn't want repeated if he had respect for Stevie.

Honestly though, Kristin is a saint for having to deal with that stuff.
You've been had, my love! Kristin is nothing but Lindsey's sperm bank! She was impregnated with Stevie's eggs and hatched the two of them three beautiful children. Didn't you know?

That's my particular favorite bit of gossip.

You mean, you mean... they're not Stevie's children? Oh, misery. And that idea of a menopausal woman mothering children that came from Kristen's big old pregnant belly was so plausible.

I just read about 3 posts when the insanity started to unravel and my head exploded too.

I forgot that Jonathan Todd had offered to help Kimberly find out if the band got their gifts and cards. For all of the Jonathan Todd haters.............with any luck, and if there's any justice in this world.......Kimberly and all of her friends are still calling Jonathan and his wife and harassing them everyday since this started

On a funny ironic note, the thread I llinked was about Mick's Q&A ...the one he started a day or two after it was announced on the Penguin that John would be doing a Q&A here!

Well, Mick's so busy that he still hasn't answered one question from his Q&A

Jonathan and the Moderators have conveniently fallen back into slimey waters they came from and have no answers as to why Mick hasn't answered anything.

I still haven't recovered from hearing Toad's wife sing.
