You are not the only one, yesterday I was listening to ootc and I wondered: "when am I going to be THAT good ?"

I LOVE Mirage, Tusk, and some of now. That picture of him crouching over the guitar...

I know this is an old thread, but what the heck. I'm going with Out of the Cradle and Tusk tied for my favorite era appearance-wise. I would place the Say You Will era as a very close second. I think I've loved all the eras, though, but my least fave look-wise is always Mirage because I'm reminded of that live concert and how ridiculous he looked in the hat and those unforgivable pants. But I'm sure there's someone out there who loves that look, so no disrespect meant.

I thought he looked his best from 92 thru to The Dance tour.

Yeah, I didn't mind the Mirage look. I never thought about it before, but "Zombie" always describes his hat as being tiny and once she said it, I giggled, even though it never occurred to me that his hat was too small for his head before.

It's a fine look though, with a little bit of stubble. Hmmmm. I have no complaints. The only thing I would say about the Hold Me video is that he looks like he can't see and is constantly straining his eyes. Put on some glasses, man! But I guess that just plays into the impotent theme of the video. Not seeing, not completing, not connecting.

I'd have to say the look for the Tango videos is #1 for me though.
Dance look is my least favorite, although he began to look better as the tour wore on and was pretty cute at the RRHOF.

Playing wise? I dont think I could zone in on just one era to be honest. Far too difficult.
Gun to my head it'd have to be Mirage tour and the Dance. He was just untouchable during the Dance. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I first watched it..

Looks wise? (oh goody..) TUSK! Has to be Tusk. How he looked on the Tusk Documentary vids? Mmmmm, more please! Although, I can't ever think of a time when Linds looked bad. I was even watching his Soundstage the other day and I gotta say, its looking like the guy will never lose it.

And let the record show that I loved the Mirage hat.

Yeah, Mirage era and I are up and down. I don't understand that look, don't care for it, but at the same time I know there were moments. I thought the Hold Me video was a perfect one, as he looks quite sexy holding the palette and in that suit. I never even noticed the squinting...does he have eye problems because on the Live in Boston dvd he does quite a bit of that during Say Goodbye and others. Or perhaps he's holding back tears. What a sensitive guy.

And I love the Mirage cover. He looks beautiful period.

But sometimes, to me, Lindsey can take on the look of two entirely different people. Like him on the Dance looks nothing like him at any point during the Say You Will period. To me anyway.

I think the "Baddie" (black Leather Jacket and Grease style hair cut) Lindsey in the Video for "Wrong" was the coolest Lindsey that I remember

One of those moments for me was in the video when he is whispering into the mic, for Not That Funny. I thought that was pretty sexy. I was like, "oh ho hum, I don't particular like this song." Then, "What now?!"

I imagine he is blind as a bat, but probably always has his contacts in. I remember Javier mentioned that Lindsey wore glasses in the old days, but never performed with them on.

They all look pretty tasty for that Mirage cover. I noticed on the new FM website that they had those photos and I was disappointed that they were separated into front cover and back cover. I wanted one long banner with all 5 members on it, because I think Mr. Fleetwood and Mr. McVie were looking mighty fine too. There are just some photos of the band where this collective, smouldering aura comes through. It doesn't happen all the time with them, but in that particular picture, yeah. Sometimes you sense a group attitude and cockiness that is intoxicating.

Stevie once said that when the 5 of them are together it's like being in a movie and I sense that sometimes.

I guess I understand something of the Mirage love. I was about 2 or something during that time period, so I should probably be more appreciative of that strange get-up and the eye makeup. But sadly, I pretty much try to ignore it. But the performances were always great.

Out of the Cradle is just...a gorgeous time for him. I think he was investing in some really great hair gel. And being consistent with it. Not that the curls ever bothered me, but he looked so debonair and matinée idol like. I have deep love for it. And the Countdown vid is probably my FAVORITE:

Let me leave Tusk for another post. There are just too many good things to be said that will take attention away from OotC LB.

^Well, that bed cover photo is not one of my favorite images of the band. I'm not enamored of anything that has that much of Mick's bare body displayed. Christine's hand on his feet just grosses me out.

Plus, I didn't like Lindsey's hair. One of the reasons that the Tusk era is so nice is the haircut.

I love all his looks, but I think he looked awesome during the Tusk era.
