However, Sweet Home Alabama is on right now, and I will never not love that song.

They always do. They're destined for greatness, I know it. I just got a boot DVD of theirs from a show they did in October in London and it's amazing. Such energy. And it has four of the new songs on it, too.

She was wearing a lime green cardigan, and BITCHING red stiletto heels, if that helps.
I looked at the PBS site, and it was the show that aired back in October. She did an awesome version of Long Ride Home on that one. And, yes, those heels were bitching.

*sigh* I hope I'll get to see her live someday.

Well, what she achieved during her lifetime was amazing and heartfelt music, so it's only fitting.

Franz and Bonnie (*double swoon*) were the only ones I really dug. Loved Latifah, she has a set of pipes. Lush Life is one of the hardest songs to sing, so she gets props. I liked the Black Eyed Peas, too, but I'm a fan. Melissa was phenom, too.

Poor baby.

She's amazing. You should have seen her tonight, she singlehandedly saved a self-righteous and ridiculous awards show with true heart and soul.

I will give a special award to Gwen and Eve's legs. It's called the "DAMN! KICKIN'!!!" award.

oh. I'm sorry I missed that. Why did he do that? Can we all do it? JK - never in a million years. Ooo, I'm loving Latifah's performance, and thank god she changed her dress.
