LORETTA WINS!!!

catinthedark · #**107** 02-13-2005, 10:22 PM

How come Loretta Lynn's records keep getting banned? Why wouldn't country radio play Van Lear Rose?

How country can country radio be if it doesn't play Loretta Lynn??

Hawkeye · #**108** 02-13-2005, 10:25 PM

I wanted Red Neck Woman to win over Loretta Lynn.

Have you heard both albums? Loretta's is way better.

I actually get a kick out of Gretchen Wilson, and I like her album (considering it's her debut release). But Van Lear Rose has so much more emotion and depth for my taste -- with nearly 50 years suffering through the music biz, how could it not?

HELL YEA! U2 won! Awesome! VERY ****ING AWESOME!

I think cuz it was produced by a weird rock guy, and it turned out to be the best thing to hit country music in decades. *cough*Shania*cough

Ugh, Green Day. LOVED their lip-synching.

No way - they have rules against that after Milli Vanilli, remember?

Too bad they didn't perform live and instead chose to lip-synch. I mean, c'mon.

NO!!! Not for a half hour. I was just reading my dumb book, waiting, waiting. Now I'm watching extreme home makeover, and waiting, waiting...

Oh, no! I turned the channel and they're showing the dumb orange squares in central park! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

Yer just mad cuz the Franz guy got a stupid haircut (that was shot from a HORRIBLE angle) that made him look like the Flock of Seagulls guy.

No freaking way, they lip-synched 100%. It couldn't have been more obvious. My jaw was on the floor. No live vocal is that perfect and he gave it away when he synched the computerized vocal parts.

I liked it, actually, especially with the eyeliner.

It's bloody awful this year. Alicia's first song was amazing, but her and Jamie Foxx doing Georgia was putrid. Kanye West and his gospel **** freaked me out, it was scary. Loretta won HOORAY, and Melissa Etheridge was ****ing brilliant. And Fergie looks HAWT.
