No worries. In about two weeks, LLB will be has-beens.

That it is. And I thought their acceptance speech was really great. You could tell how excited they were.

-_-.

That doesn't matter. The passion and tone Bono's voice was just amazing. It was one of the best live performances I've ever seen from ANYONE.

Yeah, it was great how he said that horribly sweet thing about his father's great tenor opera voice being passed to him, and then he butchered the first note he sang.

And opening the show with Fergie screeching WAY out of tune? It almost scared my cockatoo to death, and he's heard ME sing...

Oy - J-Ho and Mr. J-Ho just came on, must mute tv fast!

He couldn't get the introduction right, let alone the song.

-_-. Everyone makes mistakes kthnx. He could sing I'm a Little Teapot and it would still be amazing. No, I'm not biased.

I would actually like that - since when he dances around, he looks like he's doing the Teapot dance most of the time anyway.

What is up with this show? Every song has been mid-tempo to slow, except for Gwen (who I loved, btw)? I know it's not the VMAs, but does it have to be so low-key? Even the audience looks bored. They really shouldn't have this at the Staples Center any more -- it sucks all the intimacy out of the show.

And that stage set? Why didn't they just hold it in Times Square and save a bunch of money?

It made FM's medley sound half way decent.

Gretchen and Keith sounded good. I had a chimp implanted in my brain to cancel-out any noises eminating from Tim McGraw, thankfully. And it's always good to see Skynyrd still around, just cuz they're survivors.

Anyone know what was up with Grethen's shirt? "In Memory of Kilgore"?
