Default Mac related: A new band formed by...

There were some temporal or brief bands during rock/pop history, formed by member from other BIG bands. For example...

The Power Station formed by members of Duran Duran, Chic, etc.
Asia began with the apparent demise of Yes and Emerson Lake & Palmer.
Electronic formed by members of New Order and the Smiths (and Pet Shop Boys on 2 songs).

So.. If any one or 2 mac members (Chris, Stevie, Peter, Lindsey, etc..) wanted to form a band for one or two albums, what people would you choose for joining them? Think in members from famous bands.

For example (yes, just kidding):
Stevie Nicks + Mick Jagger + Eric Clapton + Tina Turner + Jonh McVie..

Create your band as you want.

Lindsey, Debbie Harry, Clem Burke, and David Bowie.

I'd call them Hefty Drunk Girl.

Years ago I came across a "news blurb" in a magazine dated 1984, that Stevie and Joe Walsh were contemplating forming a band together, called Eagle's Heart.

There probably isn't any validity to the story at all, but I always thought it would have been a very interesting collaboration.

I've also thought it would have been cool to see Stevie as part of an all-girl band, with the likes of Nancy Wilson, Jane Wiedlin, Sheila E., and the like.

Well, she has performed onstage with Nancy and Shelia E - 10 points to anyone who can name the show where Shelia E. performed and she was there (it is possible she was at more than one - I know of only one) AND 20 points if the sang she played on can be named. 100 points if her seat ont he stage can be identified

Probably, but, I hope they would have chosen a more creative name.

At least it isn't as cheesy. I was thinking more to something like 'Blind choices'

My band would be comprised of:
- David Byrne (guitar, vocals)
- Stevie Nicks (vocals, tambourine)
- Brandon Flowers (keyboards, vocals)
- Clem Burke (drums)
- Adam Clayton (bass)

They'd be called "Four Dudes and Some Freaky Chick Who Will Never Get Along"

They'd play to high school auditoriums only, as part of the "Who The F*ck Are They?" tour.
