I love Wendy, she's a hoot. And I don't think she's that bad of a designer, especially compared to some of the others that are still there.

Have you noticed that sometimes they shoot the rear side of the PR screen as the models are entering/exiting the runway, and the back of the screen spells out "Y A W N"? And I want that old chick with the 3-color hair (Wendy?) g-o-n-e already!
I think she's incredibly gorgeous, but that robotic voice drives me up a wall.

I can't believe you don't like Wendy, though. It wouldn't be as fun to watch without her diva antics and crying and sobbing.

I got to meet her briefly in Austin, around the time the red album came out (the one with "One Big Love" and "Jiggly Fingers" - I'm totally blanking on the name...), and she was just about the coolest person I've ever been around.

And she's MUCH prettier in person -- she just doesn't photograph well at all for some reason (IMHO). Or, at the least, needs photographers who do her justice...

That scene last week where Wendy was pacing outside the office, waving her arms around, and talking to herself?

Can you imagine the stress, though? I'd be having heart palpitations and be in a constant state of anxiety!

Very true! I wonder what politics Big & Rich go for. I'm thinking, southern rockers/country = republican. I could be wrong though.

I'm in love with that movie period! Great movie, great music! I do wish though that the simple piano love theme that Nicole plays in the movie (and is played in the background at many points) was on the soundtrack!

I wish Nicole herself came with the soundtrack.

She's not great, but she isn't totally awful. She's had a couple of dresses that I really liked. Austin, on the other hand, christ. I wouldn't let him dress my dining room table.

I'm not Mikki, but I'm a huge Patty fan! Living With Ghosts is her first album, it's her and an acoustic guitar, and it's stunning. I still get chills when I listen to songs like "Time Will Do The Talking" and "Every Little Bit." Flaming Red is the name of the album with "One Big Love" etc- my favorite tracks on there are "Blue Sky" and "Go Now" and "Mary."

I would recommend 1000 Kisses and Impossible Dream, the newest one. They're fantastic. She also put out a live album called A Kiss in Time that's good too.

I'm with you on her being prettier in person- she's so tiny and pretty. She's also so incredibly friendly.
