aha: he had priors! he did the very same thing whilst he was the CA GOV.
our streets are teeming with homeless people, most of whom are mentally challenged, and need monitoring.

I think treason is a whole other ball of wax. Moreover, it would be hard to be treasonous when the govt. sanctions your actions He is a jerk nonetheless!!!!

Actually, you may know more than I about the treason allegation. Let's here it!!!!!!

I always think the mentally challanged have it bad. They go to clinics and begin the meds, which make them (many but not all) lucid and they check out and get off of the meds and then go back in. Then, there are the posers. It is a shame that these bad apples spoil the access or at least the gen. public's willingness to pay for the access for the bunch.

He made a deal. That is why he went gracefully or at least as gracefully as one can in that situation

Reagan possibly committed acts of treason himself by negotiating with the Lebanese in 1980, but that's a whole 'nother ball of wax. Just because he and his administration approved of what North was doing, it doesn't make it any less treasonous in my eyes.

He asked me if I had thought of joining and I said no. And then he asked me why.

I think he'll take a personal day tomorrow to regroup...

oooo to have been a fly on the wall

You should have told them you were a flaming homosexual ready willing and able to serve - when they said that was a prohibition to serving your country - you should have pointed out that Great Britian and Australia allow gay people to serve openly and the US has no problems serving in the same coalition with them
