Rumor has it that Bree's son will become a gay character on the show. In real life, Marcia Cross will be posing in The Advocate and expressing her own homosexuality.

I've heard the same thing about Marcia. Rumor has it she's dating a female who has the lead role in another primetime show.

I'm just wondering what celeb she is dating. I might get the issue just for that.

Anyway, that woman is hot. I can't remember anything about the son. I've only watched the show twice and didn't like it very much, despite the fact that I have quite a crush on Eva Longoria. I really didn't like any of the characters. They were at least real, but it was hard to find good traits in them, generally. I also thought it was just a primetime soap opera, and God knows I've watched enough daytime soap operas in my life, I didn't really want to start watching primetime ones, too. And I really hate the voiceover thing. What is the point of that? This show is kind of insulting to my intelligence, but isn't most everything on TV these days? I actually watched "CSI" and "Without a Trace" one time and I couldn't get over how much my intelligence was insulted. Anyway, now that I'm finished bashing stuff, does anyone know if there's a website that has photos of the different characters on "Desperate Housewives" and explains who they are, what they've done, etc., so I could take a look at the potentially gay guy?

Longoria does absolutely nothing for me, but Marcia Cross is hawt. Truly stunning. The stars aligned when she was born.

I can see what you're saying, since Longoria isn't usually the kind I go for. I mean, physically, anyway. Hell if I know what her personality is like. But she looks very much like a typical model to me and she's perfectly skinny, and those two are usually turn-offs for me. I've been told by one of my friends that I have a thing for "earthy, voluptuous women." I suppose so. BUT, Longoria is Latina, and it's hard to go wrong with that.

I know. I love Ellen too and appreciate what she's done so much, but that particular stunt seemed incredibly insensitive to me. I guess I'm a fool, but I really thought she and Alexandra would be together forever and they'd be an example for the prejudiced heterosexuals who think gay people can't be monogamous. I thought the same thing....though I was also thrilled to learn that Portia was gay - I had the biggest crush on her when she was on Ally McBeal
