My list:
1. Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind - OMG the lyrics! his voice! the music! pure perfection 2. Come - especially the live version... Can you feel the fever? I certainly can! 3. I'm So Afraid - from The Dance. Need I say anything? 4. Without a Leg to Stand On - Lindsey's lyrical masterpiece. Look around but you won't see me, just a picture of what I used to be... I need a tissue! 5. Go Insane - from The Dance. A smidge different than the 84 version, wouldn't you say? But omg it takes my breath away. 6. Peacekeeper - the live version from the Special Edition SYW. He gets a little too excited by the word "kill" but I can put this one on repeat and let it play 24/7! 7. This is the Time - if for no other reason than the line "a little too erotic, how do we get things done?" 8. Dancing Across the U.S.A. - I crack up every time! 9. Twist of Fate - more great lyrics! 10. I Won't Be Too Young - Does this one count? It's more or less a duet with Walter Egan from Malibooz Rule! Just like a spring I'm wound up too tight... just like a bat I wait for my night... count my days but they move so slow... yeah I dream that I'm driving and playing my radiooooo............. |

Columbia House for like $2.00. I already have the album but couldn't pass up the price. Figured I'd use it to either introduce a new person to his work or help out an established fan. If you email your address to me at [email protected] (Put Out of the Cradle as your subject line) I'll send it to you. It hasn't actually arrived yet (they had it on backorder but I got a notice that it finally shipped), so there may be a bit of a delay. |

1. Never Going Back Again- I am obsessed with Lindsey's fingers...picking...the guitar...(Best song everrr) 2. The Ledge- gets me up and dancing! (funny mental picture, huh?!!) 3. Red Rover- such emotion "And the lips you were kissing...all bathed in blue, all bathed in white" 4. Save Me A Place 5. That's All For Everyone 6. Blue Letter 7. Go Your Own Way 8. Can't Go Back -a fav line "A Face as soft as a tear in a clown's eye" 9. Big Love -The DAnce 10. I'm So Afraid- The Dance honorable mentions Bleed To Love Her, Book Of Love, Eyes Of The World I haven't had time to REALLY listen to the solo albums OOTC and GI. But I do love Go Insane. I'd say this Lindsey list defines my tastes in The Mac era.
