I've heard of her, and that she is great, and i always see her CD's in the store for some reason. Never gotten one, though. What style is she? I got the impression she was jazz/R n' B ish...

Technically, jazz...but she's really kind of unclassifiable. She writes some of her own songs, but she chooses really diverse songs for covers. On this CD, she does Dylan's "Shelter from the Storm," a couple of Delta blues covers (Fred McDowell, Robert Johnson), "Wichita Lineman," "The Weight," and "Only a Dream in Rio."

Sounds ok. I'm sure she has a great voice, though those aren't generally my "genres of choice". Still, sounds like something i might like to sample...

If I'd have written a song on "Rumours"? How about "You want a what?", or "We should have had a Pre-Nup". (John McVie)

Christ, how long did it take you to come up with that?

And how sad is it that I could read it?

Once again I'm slow and I don't see whatever you're supposed to see - I've been staring at it for a while...
