I've kept to it pretty well, though, and i'm keeping up with my excercise. Just gotta persevere and be patient. It helps that my friend has lost 13-14 lbs, she's the one i go to the river with in the summer, and i don't want to be the fatass when we do, especially considering she's had three kids... A little friendly competition never hurt anyone! Oh, and i'm really loving the no caffeine part, i feel great with that...
It actually added up to 5 lbs . Gotta include that last lb!

We're supposed to get 4-8 more inches of snow tonight through tomorrow. We already got 22 inches here in Boston and can't really afford anymore. At least I do not have to drive in it, just have to watch where I walk so I don't wipe out.

I can't stand it anymore. Go away snow!

Here are a few pics that I took today:

The first 2 are pics that I took on my way to work. The last one is of a few big icicles out side my work place building.

Soooo pretty, but I know it is a pain in the butt.

It's sad that our roads are worse than yours and we only got 3 inches. It's true.

Hehe. I'm sure we have a much bigger snow removal budget up here and people are more experienced and the system is better synchronized. The plows kept going 'round and 'round here since I live on a main road. They wake you up periodically crashing the plow down, it sounds like a shotgun, scares the crap out of me every time!

Okay, but here's the positive, at 4:15 today I looked out the window and thought, "Huh, it's still light out." The days are getting longer... I'm in Boston, MA, 'case ya didn't notice.

the other day i read in our paper how all of Nantucket was without power, and about 18,000 people inland in an area about 20 miles south of Boston, I think. 18,000!!!
glad you're ok...

Aw, thanks Sweetie. I figured that about Nantucket, and I think they were without it for a long time because early in the storm their report was "no report". They're tough islanders though, they know what to expect over there in winter.

I went their in winter once for a wedding. It actually was early winter so the first day was gorgeous. Then it became freezing over night, so much so that the harbor froze and we could not get a ferry out. We had to take a puddle jumper. How's your "Wings"?

Omigod, I can't believe I wrote that "I went their", barf. It's this nice glass of wine I think

It was kind of cool. But I was scared. I did not like puddle jumpers at all. Although it was exciting at the same time. And with the bad weather it was all over the place like an amusement ride. I survived though .

My ex's brother was living there in the winter because it is dirt cheap. They had to move out at the beginning of summer though when the rent became more per week than what they were paying per month! It was eerie being there in the winter because there was only a few restaurants open, and only one that was suitable for a small reception. It was an adventure!

Do you have another snow day today? I'm trying to figure out if I can grab a bus to work. Effing snow.
