Lindsey Jr. · #1 01-24-2005, 03:06 PM

Or is it impossible to tell, 'cause he's one of the best ?

I'll agree that it is impossible to tell, really, in my opinion too, but if I had to pick one, I'm going to have to say, in studio: "Go Your Own Way" and live: "Come."

ISA - live...any version

Come - live and on SYW

Isn't It Midnight - I friggin' LOVE that solo!

Doing What I Can - live and on OOTC

GYOW - on Rumours

The Chain - Mirage concert

Murrow

Acoustically, Go Insane and Big Love.

Heh, speaking of DWIC, it just came on my iTunes. YEAH!!

I still don't like Come, any version. Sorry fellows.

But I love So Afraid from the Dance. I got tired of Big Love, GYOW and other so afraid live versions. They all r cool but.. please enough!!!

I really loved Never g.b.a, and Say Goodbye from the Boston DVD. New versions, new sounds..

So at the end I think each version has its own era..

I'm So Afraid
or Come
Maybe it's because those solos are so good they make me really horn...I mean happy...

strandinthewind · #7 01-24-2005, 05:29 PM

I am not a fan of Lindsey's Come

I am a HUGE fan, however, of TITN and more so ISA. BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It certainly is an acquired taste.

I guess it just depends on how excited he is about producing it and the effect of what he has eaten that day

Well, yes, and how much of it he put out the night before also can significantly effect it the next night

WelshWitchPMD · #12 01-24-2005, 06:12 PM

ISA and COME are what I first thought of as favs. I am sure that I will think of more.

I absolutely love "Loving Cup!" That solo is incredible. That is a good studio choice.

i agree! there are so many to choose from, right now though, I am in LOVE with the solo from Loving Cup off the Go Insane album....but i always have to fall back on Big Love ( acoustic version) , thats the song I fell in love with him for!!!
