Stop bragging Justin! I feel so abused now that I know I'm the only one that goes in at 7:30

I don't think so. My dad and my younger brother (well, he's not younger, just younger than my other brother ) both used to teach science (biology, physics, and chemistry ) but neither one of them is too great in math, especially my brother. He's about as bad as I am. But they both blow me out of the water in science.

When I was in high school, the bus picked me up at 6:45 and we had to be in homeroom by 7:10. First class was 7:25. I believe we got out a few minutes before 2 o'clock.

I know, I know...My mom majored in environmental science, and is good at science, but has "math anxiety" and hates it. But it still seems like they should go together. A lot of the "nerdy" kids i knew in school were good at both. they were pretty studious all around, though. They were always discussing these weird physics theories...
I love science, though, but it needs to be put into words. Matter of fact, i watch science shows all the time, but the difference is they talk about it, rather than showing you equations or...those chemistry model thingies?
Thank you, PBS...

in Algebra nearly everyday (Be it Algebra I, II, III/Trig) because I too bored to pay attention, I just listened to my Walkman and saw the Math classes as my extra sleepy-hour...

Btw, I had a 4.0 GPA in all Math courses I took

did you have a subject that was harder for you? (probably not! )

My first year of college, I randomly did really well in my logic class without knowing exactly why. It all just made sense, it's as if I absorbed it through osmosis, without my brain being involved. But there was also math involved in that logic class.
Very strange, yet very cool. But then, when i took an IQ test, I scored highest in logic, vocab, and intuition. Then it made more sense.
Amber "queen of word problems" G.
oh, and "Treat Me Right" Pat Benatar, the radio.

A's and B's in Science...

Loved Biology in high school with Mr.Magoo, I mean Mr.Eyres...A cool teacher for some chubby dude that wore plaid every day and had a rather large fish tank in his class (We tried to wipe his fish out on several occassions to no avail ).

I loved his style of teaching, Our class had no books, Everything or the year was written in chalk on the chalk boards, If ya didnt take note you were screwed...Cause the year final was an open note test, If a had notes ya had it made, If not you were rather S.O.L.

I hated school though...Too much popularity contest BS for me (My High School was one of the largest in population in the state of Oklahoma...Had 2,000 students in grades 10 to 12, If ya added the 9th graders from Jr.High our High School population was over 3,000. Our school was overcrowded to say the least.) but I laughed when only 400 graduated in 1988...Outta 600+ students (I was 136th in my class ranking)

The Muskogee Public School district changed the high school credit amounts/requirements starting with my class in '88: 4 English, 4 Math (Algebra I or higher...The reason so many did not graduate), 2 Science (Earth Science & Biology which are mandatory), 2 History (Oklahoma History & US History).

That's a large population for an Oklahoma high school? I went to a relatively small school here, or at least I thought it was. We had about 1,100. I guess I always assume that everywhere else is a lot bigger.
