I have no buttons to push, and even if I did, you certainly don't have the wherewithal to accomplish the task.

It's just appaling to me that there are still (many) people in the world who feel the way brwneyes or whatever does...

I am an American. I love America and that's why I HATE Bush and that's why I hated the crap that the religious right is trying to pull in this coutry - they and you may not hate America but they sure as hell seem to hate Americans who (at least the ones who are not white/upper class/christian)

I don't, I love being an American. What I dislike are the Americans who have no clue what this country is about and the Americans who think the world was built for them. Which affects me....When I go out of the country, I'm sterotyped as a bully, ignorant American. I don't want to be classified as an American if that is the case.

This may be true. However, as soon as you open your mouth you will dissuade them of this view. You can REPRESENT! (hits chest). Remember, that "we're sorry" site has let the world know that not ALL Americans are ignorant bullies who hate poor people, foreigners, and the environment.
