Wow, a bunch of people like them, but i thought they were really mediocre on SNL. Looks like I was right.

Well, I like the video for Mr. Brightside. But that's about it.

There's something about their sound that comes across as very labored and forced for some reason. New wave retro that sounds incredibly dull, there's no sense of real fun or urgency to me. I don't know, maybe their next album will be good.

You should the video for Mr. Brightside. It's a hoot. And Eric Roberts is in it. <333333

But they just do nothing for me. Flowers has a good voice, but a lot of his phrasing left me holding my head in my hands. I finally just decided to pop Franz in.

Same with the Scissor Sisters. I know lots of people like them, too, but I could go into any random nightclub in New York and hear that. Not to mention that I find them tacky as all get out.

I think that has a lot to do with it. His phrasing and delivery got incredibly obnoxious after, I don't know, the first track. And track five is so blunt and earnest that I wanted to gag. But he does have a good voice.

Exclamation Currently...

"Breathing New Life" by Damageplan...Can't wait til the just announced recordings that Dimebag recording did for what would have been Damageplan's second release are officially released.

Btw, I'm surprised that people still watch SNL, I tried watchin' when U2 was on the recent repeated episode and it was as enjoyable as seeing a proctologist with a depth perception problem.

yes, the video sounds ok. I like Eric Roberts.
But i thought their band work was mediocre; sounded the same all the way through. And the next song sounded the same as the first. And the band sounded the same as what lots of other bands do.
The singer was ok.

Ugh, they're beyond words. Have you seen their latest video? I literally shrieked. There are such a things as good bad taste and bad bad taste. They definitely embody the latter. And there's nothing distinctive about them. Maybe if you live in middle America and haven't been exposed to that type of thing before, but come up here, cruise some nightclubs, and the Scissor Sisters look like unoriginal thieves.

Yeah, I'm not impressed. Better than most music out there currently, though. Especially when stood next to Kasabian (probably the worst band in the history of music). Gimme Franz, gimme The Blood Arm, gimme Juliette and the Licks. That's the good stuff, IMO.

I would say no. I would also submit, that if you've heard one of their songs, you've heard them all. But, if you like that one song, and want to hear it over and over, then i would say yes.

And your mailbox bounced back, by the way. I was all sending stuff and surprise! Bounce'D. I'll try to compress them into smaller filesizes. Yay, Siouxsie!
Try it now, I cleared out some junk.
