Talking Things I Didn't Want To Know

During an hour's swimming at a municipal pool you will
ingest 1/12 liter of urine.

In an average day your hands will have come into
indirect contact with 15 penises (touching door
handles etc.)

An average person's yearly fast food intake will
contain 12 pubic hairs.

In a year you will have swallowed 14 insects - while
you slept!

Annually you will shake hands with 11 women who have
recently masturbated and failed to wash their hands.

Annually you will shake hands with 6 men who have
recently masturbated and failed to wash their hands.
(Really? Only 6? I would have guessed more like 600)

In a lifetime 22 workmen will have examined the
contents of your dirty linen basket.

At an average wedding reception you have a 1/100
chance of getting a cold sore from one of the guests.

Daily you will breath in 1 liter of other peoples'
anal gases.

HAVE A GREAT DAY...

....and wash your damn
hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I've brought this up before, but I can't understand how one can swallow insects and not know it. Unless they're gnats, maybe. Is anyone else doubtful about this?

I was thinking about that too, and have other times when I've seen that list. I've heard they crawl into your mouth while you're sleeping and then you swallow them.

The slightest thing wakes me up, though. I can't see I wouldn't notice something like that. Well, whatever the case, they say insects are some of the most clean animals. (Except roaches, I suppose).

It can happen. But I freak out more about my ears. I usually sleep on my side, and I have to have my ear covered up with my blanket, it's an OCD tendency I have.

The thought of a bug crawling in there & laying eggs in my ear canal - ACK! At least you can close your mouth, or if something does crawl in your GI fluids should kill it. But ears - wide open!

Oh God. Now y'all are planting more horrifying ideas in my head! Has anyone ever heard of something crawling in someone's ear and laying eggs? I love insects much more than most people ('cept for roaches, mosquitoes, wasps, and some of the other really obnoxious ones) but YUCK!

I was forwarded this in an email from a friend. Only there were pictures! The penis door knobs were classic...

Bed and dust mites. Every bed is full of them, no matter how often you wash your mattress or linens. Trust me, because I wash them every two days.

Everyone has a worm-like bug in each root of their eyelashes, too. Nasty, eh?

I would have loved to, but something about the email flagged our IT group here at work and they emailed my manager that I may be receiving "questionable material". He thought it was hilarious also, but I had to delete it...

Oh yeah. I forgot about those bed and dust mites. They're pretty tiny. I've heard about those eyelash bugs, too. I wonder how it is that we all wind up with those?

Aw. Well, I guess a "penis doorknob" could be viewed by some as questionable material.

I ate half a roach once-- i know because I found the other half nearly hidden with the oregano/basil etc on my pizza. I only noticed because I happend to glance down before taking another bite.

Nasty.

I totally believe a person can ingest 14 bugs a year and not know it!

I don't know, but it made me sick to my stomach when I learned about them in high school. They serve no purpose, yet everyone has them. I suppose it's one of life's great mysteries.
