I don't think it's that bad, really. You're always saying how impossible it is to understand Debbie, and that's one of the songs where I can understand her clearly. o_O

Are you serious?! I must have bad copies, because I can barely hear her on the blasted thing. Took me forever to learn the lyrics (thanks in no small part to the idiots who didn't include them in the liner notes ) because I could never understand her. I used to hear it as:

I still can fritter him
His bands in his back rockets
He wasn't much for words
But when the five men made that racket
He just had to go downtown, throw his bait around
For starting over

Why don't the albums come with lyrics in the liners! That would save me so much time and trouble. I? Can never understand Debbie. It took me foreeeverrrr to figure out Rapture and Good Boys, etc, because I couldn't figure out what the hell she was saying.

Wow, that is pretty bad. I understood it perfectly.

Oy, Rapture took me years. And I'm still amazed by the fact that it was written and recorded in 15 ****ing minutes. Her and Chris are aliens.

I didn't find Good Boys bad at all, though, I picked up on that one instantly. One that I NEVER understood was the chorus of Picture This, she sings it so freaking fast.

Debbie, I'm unsure on. Chris, though? Not from this world. He's so quirky, I love him.

Homan. Try "I'm On E." My first exposure to it was on Musikladen, and I just sat there like " Huuuuh?" Oh, Debbie.

I think they're both aliens, it's ridiculous how smart they are. They put MENSA to shame.

Have you been to his many websites? Dude is hysterical. I squealed with laughter when he took a call on Live By Request. How insane was that?

Or the old CBGB performances of Rip Her To Shreds. My god.

She's a hoot, thank the stars they got her. Let's see her and Spader hop in the sack, ABC.

I dug the product placement they both did. Tab and Secret? Ding.

Satan: So... what's your secret?
Chris: It's my deodorant.
[audience enjoys; Satan doesn't understand]

I hate Jules. -_-

Then poor Debbie, no one understood the Tab shoutout.

Satan.

That crowd was full of teens and college kids, how the hell would they know who Tab Hunter is? I doubt one of them even knew she did a song for Polyester.

My favorites were when Debs would take calls. She looked so shy and out of place. "That's...perfect."
