I work at a pharmaceutical company doing data entry and materials management. Any raw material that comes in that building I process in the computer system, and all the final product (and all inbetween) I account for. Pretty boring, but it pays well.

Other then that, I was playing Balloon Lagoon with my lil one tonight, laundry, dishes, and all other house-hold chores. I regularly chauffeur Sara around to school and doctor and dentist appointments, gymnastics... blah, blah, blah. For myself, if I'm not cleaning the house on the weekends, I go shopping!!!!

When I was a high school lad, I worked in a nursing home too. First, I played in the garden mowing lawns, pulling weeds, and laying barkdust. Then, I swept and mopped the floors. The coup de grace was working in the laundry my last year of high school. Nutty ! It was harrowing at times, but I had some fun and it resulted in great stories.
Now, I make sets pretty for film and television. On the side, I am attempting to build my own empire of rental propery. Sparky Trump.
As for the rest, y'all know WAY too much about that already.

Ha, I feel like such a do-gooder . Thank you, guys. But I usually don't interact with the patients as much as the CNA's do, I just bring down the food. I do chat once in a while with some of the people that are totally with it (which not many of them are) though. It's my co-workers, who I absolutely hate, that make work miserable.

I'm a court reporter. Not in a courtroom, though. I do depositions and the occasional arbitration. Most kind of work I do is personal injury, med/mal, workers comp, employment stuff...boring. My job in FL was much more interesting. They do criminal depos down there.

Other than that I'm a wife and mom; ie, wiping away tears, doing dishes, laundry, driver, cleaning. But I don't usually have to cook. My hubby prefers to do it, thank God, 'cause I suck at it!

Oh my roommate is also a court reporter and takes the same type of testimony. I proofread some of her stuff and you're right, snooze fest. But sometimes things can get juicy. It's a decent living though. She doesn't really like it, lol. But she doesn't hate it, pays the bills.

I'm now working on a PR package for a couple of clubs in Indy. B'ton went completely NON smoking on 1/1/5(I'm thrilled, but I don't "pay" my mortgage!), and a few places are starting to panic. Live music has really been drying up around here the past couple of years, and, as bad as I hate to say it, the smoking ban IS probably going to hurt business,.......soooo, you gotta do what you gotta do. Now, where's that Lotto ticket?

Amber, we are SO far ahead of the Midwest! We're the first city in Indiana to ban smoking in bars! My experience this week has been: most places are allowing- "concealed" smoking.

Wow! I suppose that's good. Actually, I know some bars here with concealed smoking as well, but...I smoke, and when people can smoke in bars it gets waaaaaaaaay to smoky for me, I don't like it either...
